Microsoft Windows 11 is Palantir Mossad spyware
>>714672347>Windows XP/2000/8/10 totally didn't spy on you!95 was the last relatively safe version of windows
>>714672506wincucks don't understand this simple fact.
I remember when 7 would send you ads to upgrade to 10. At any moment, M$ can push an update to do whatever malicious spyware, adware bullshit they want, even to "le heckin wholesome 7." That's why I still use Linux since 2013. No reason to play the game anymore. in 2025, Linux is about as good at executing video games as windows. Hell, on Linux, I can execute video games in isolated sandboxes too (flatpak, Steam Pressure Vessel).
>>714634765There's no reason to buy OEM keys since it wouldn't be a license key in legal terms so at this point it's no different from massgravel except massgravel is free.

WTF are you talking about? How is it related to my post. Also, "borderless window" is fucking workaround to the retarded windows display server.

in 10, you'd pay compositing costs to use it. FYI: GNOME's compositor hasn't had this problem in a whole fucking decade.

A good product doesn't go on sale like this. They are afraid of the writing on the wall.
>>714673450It's disingenuous to claim SteamOS is better. It's a very complex problem on Linux still and while you can get higher frames, you may suffer other weird problems like shitty GPU scheduling starving tasks and nonfunctioning display tearing (forced vsync). HDR support basically requires you to nest multiple Wayland compositors and wine still has some indirection by depending on XWayland.
A new "completely fair scheduler" for GPUs is in the works, Wine for Wayland will become the norm soon, GNOME AND KDE Plasma now have HDR support, but we'll still have wait(tm) and see.
