The funny truth of this is that if you interact with public schools at all, either with your own kid or working there or whatever, you immediately see how many absolute garbage parents there are that treat it like a free daycare and barely take care of their own kids. My advice to you is to back up your entire stash on a USB drive, put a password on it so you have to go through more hoops to access it. Then put the flash drive in a drawer or some place not easy to get to. That way you don't delete it and feel regret, but also make it difficult to access in case you get those feelings again.

Then one day, if you feel like you actually want to get rid of your stash, just throw away the flash drive. Don't access it, copy files, look at it a last time, just chuck it in the trash.

Make it more difficult to access but don't give yourself the regret of going cold turkey and quickly getting rid of it. I hope this helps you OP.

Some how the hand full of games I don't get to play day one invalidates my high end graphics card, large amount of ram, and large SSDs and all the games that piss5 players will never get to play period.

I never played walking simulator 1 with celebs but I can't play walking simulator 2 with celebs right now .... I should run out and get an underpowered machine with a locked ecosystem that'll be obsolete in a few years right now!!!!
