Is tonight going to disappoint?
Despite the edgy iconoclasts posting here, Season 8 is genuinely good. it will probably be fine.
>>149381364No it's not, I'd call 2/7 episodes so far good, the rest aren't "bad", just really forgettable, I have no desire to rewatch them like I do so many others
>>149381379There's been plenty of actually bad episodes in previous seasons.
>>149381454Ok? I agree with you, doesn't really change what I said at all
>>149381379space lolis and the james gunn episodes were my favourite eveyr other episode is beyond meh
like these two episodes are genuine GEMS in the dirt, like i am rewatching that shit , the james gunn episode is easily my fave of the season because i am a disgusting james gunn shill and he is my idol
>>149381290 (OP)The loli Beths episode walill be the peak of the post-Roiland era
>>149381474>likes the retarded celebrity shit>doesn't like the farmer rick kino
>>149381474For me it's the 1st episode and loli beths, james gunn ep was disappointing. Very good concept with a limp execution. I feel like the very same idea would've been a 10/10 episode in season 2 or 3
I'm not disappointed in the show. I'm disappointed in the discussion threads. The last episode touched on Generative AI, but nobody picked up on it.
Whatever. I'll just leave my raptor porn here until the real fans come back.
>>149381537The fuck do you mean nobody picked up on it, they spell it out for you, literally, I recall rick saying something about AI
>>149381537Do you really believe no one "picked up on" the extremely obvious subject of the fucking episode? Really?
>>149381502i mean it was really good i just... didn't care all that much? i just prefer episodes featuring the richard and mortimer, not the biggest fan of episodes with new characters as the protagonist.
>>149381290 (OP)Its not going to disapoint because I have no faith in it at all
>>149381559Are you going to present alternative facts to people who were there and can pull up the archives to show you how wrong you are.
>>149381557>>149381559Dudes, you gotta remember: Rick & Morty is a TV series for people with a high IQ
>>149381621Get a load of this guy.
>>149381290 (OP)Only if they don't give us Morticia
>>149381364i didnt like it beyond the whacky races and maybe the kid beths
i ca admit there was an effort made to go back to the early seasons feel but i dont think ther was enough of an effort
>>149381474>because i am a disgusting james gunn shill and he is my idolWell that's why he's successful at all.
You know, I take it back, new Superman is actually extremely great, but Gunn's dumbass trying to make it all current eventy polluted a lot of minds about it. "Well uh he's an immigrant y'know" - It's fucking Superman dude, calm the fuck down. You're lucky everyone licks your ass enough you weren't cancelled for those rape/Holocaust jokes.
>>149381636That episode will blow up only if they don't include selfcest crap.
>>149381474space lolis was a surprisingly okay episode, I liked the cryoship one because of the latter half
I'm going to go out a limb and say .... probably, but maybe not.
This season has been full of very ok fine episodes. The matrix built around a phone charger, the Citadel citizens in their ruins, trying to steal from ark ship - all just stuff very standard R&M plot that's become average and not very memorable or exciting.
However, Jerry with another Jerry is something they haven't really delved too deep into beyond the time he was in Jerryboree. So it could be interesting. Or it could be another paint by numbers most obvious outcome.
So that being said, over/under on the Jerrys fucking each other ala the Beths?
>>149381624and /co/ isn't for people who watch cartoons.
it's for people who watch other people watch cartoons.
>>149381738Jerry's have kissed each other before and didn't really show any emotional reaction
>>149381712Cryoship one had a good start, shit finish for me
>>149381694They already had Bethcest, why would Mortycest be any worse?
>>149381775I didn't like the standard "caste insurrection" plot so much, when it went off the rails with the fumbled heist and space race it started being more fun for me
overall good episode, glad we can agree on that
>>149381797Actually yeah, I think you're right, let me swap, I liked all of that, what I didn't like was any time the rich parents or kid was on the screen
>>149381738>not very memorable or exciting.Yeah that's what I don't get about you people. Those were great episodes. The phone charger matrix was better than vat of acid. Citadel ruins was better than any of the shit with jerry or whatever other faggy shit. no one wants to see Jerry, I'm not here for the adventures of unemployed mediocre retard. I'm here for an alcoholic asshole doing unhinged shit.
Whacky one-offs are fine and potentially can be great but anytime one single thread of plot is brought up half of /co/ act like it's ruining the show. Some of us like the plot heavy episodes. Without the plot you just have another saturday morning cartoon. The plot heavy stuff makes the rest of it more meaningful, gives everything a connection. If I wanted to watch superman i'd go watch superman.
I won't even point out how faggy it is to want to see jerrycest.
>>149381738Jerry is for Sleepy Gary, I thought you'd know that by now Mr. Preddit-Spacing AI
>>149381793Yeah, but Beth is a shit character, Morticia could be good
>>149381876Fair enough. Would you be cool with the show at least sexualizing Morticia? Even if only a little?
>>149381694nah morty kissing and cuddling with his adorable female version is gonna be peak
>>149381693i fully agree actually
like nigga i went to see the movie day one
biggest shill on the planet even i disagreed with what gunn was saying you know
i go watch it amazing movie , we saw the prime minister of israel get killed by hawk girl amazing
in the end of the movie that shit was just fucking john byrne's superman birthright
nigga wtf what was that political talk for then
also
I LOVE RICK AND MORTY SPAGHETTI EPISODE (no off topic)
>>149381836You probably love the show and your girlfriend is probably 250 with 3 cats and writes for the show (and would leave you in a second if she thought Harmon was hitting on her.)
>>149382023I can't wait for the episode where Morty sleeps with Morticia and she ends up pregnant with her own clone
>>149381827See, people like you are the problem. I didn't say the episodes were bad, I said they were fine. But because I didn't say they were great, you're getting all emotional and defensive about it. Like the show changed your life and watching it you think it made your smarter or something (it didn't.)
>>149382136That's a whole lot of assumptions and projections.
I've lost track of the continuity. Are they still in the universe with the Captain Planet parody?
>>149382107what the fuck is this random seethe over literally nothing
>>149381474That is so cute, anon, now a days I only see people hating on writers and people like that, everyone is so cynical and nothing do feels like is worth anything and is all trash.
Is good to know there are still fans out there and you admire someone, even if the back of my head is screaming at me I'm just talking to james right now. 'm happy you enjoyed the episode and had fun.
Episode is trash without it, tho. I'm really not a fan of how much they fall back to "lmao marvel movies, man, they suck, right? We just can't shut the fuck up about it" time to time.
I hope they give Rick a reason to be constantly angry and on edge again, pacified beta rick is weird to watch
>>149381364I didnt like the last 2 episodes, but I also loathe Beth for the most part.
>>149382225It was a conscious decision to make Rick seem like less of a god compared to back when the show started.
Itโs been a long time, but some people used to glaze him as one of the most well written characters fiction.
>>149382289They can still do that without making him act like such a pushover, I recently rewatched all the seasons and how he is in S8 is like an entirely different character
>>149381290 (OP)>Is tonight going to disappoint?>Is tonight going to>Is tonight going>Is tonight>Is
Let me know if there are clones this episode. Screenshot post if it turns out right, it matters apparently
>[WRC/URC]
>>149382380Nope in fact a clip basically shows that it's Evil Jerry or at least a Jerry with multiverse travel access.
>>149382865Yeah because I was gonna convince Rick after my dream this morning to let Jerry play with genetic technology, so coincidentally I effectively half doomed the multiverse off-screen thanks for letting me know it will never get less paranormal for me
>>149382969>schizo thinks his dreams influence the show
>>149381290 (OP)Summer was the only good thing about last episode, so maybe she'll do it again.
>>149381364Not at all, season 8 has been the mid-est season thus far with no real terrible or good episodes just mostly okay and mediocre episodes.
>>149381474The main problem with the James Gunn episode was that he felt entirely superfluous to it despite being the main focus. Like you could literally replace him with a generic director character and nothing would change beyond the Snyder joke.
>>149381290 (OP)Of course it will. We get one, two good episodes per season tops.
And we already had two decent episodes this season.
It's OVER.
>>149382152No projections boy, I don't think the show is amazing and smart and wouldn't date a Harmon loving hambeast. Assumptions, yeah fair enough, because you definitely sound like you would.
>>149382152You're clearly not as smart as you think the show made you because you don't know what those words mean. Just be less mad the meme show isn't as good as it used to be and you'll be fine.
>>149384097>words>this mad in a thread about a cartoon>because...somethingMaybe you should eat more fiber, anon.
>>149384138>Swears a ton getting emotional because someone doesn't think the show has been great this season>"I'm not mad .... YOU'RE MAD!!!!!"You're right, getting that emotional over a cartoon isn't worth it, which is what I've been saying. I do hope you're in some kind of summer school (besides the schooling I'm giving you now :3)
Oh shit.
....The fuck is Wong doing there? It should be Annie.
>>149384332Am... am I blind? Is Jessica not in this image?
>>149381290 (OP)Only if you have any expectations for it, which you shouldnโt at this point.
>>149384332Mrs Poopy Butthole's armpit giving me difficult thoughts
>>149384332Never forget that, as bad as the show might get, the writing in the comic is ten times worse.
>>149384416She's making a valid point tho.
>>149381827You're right about this board having a history of being no fun edgelords about lore episodes but the recent citadel episode was a disappointment.
Unlike actual good citadel episodes, this one lacked anything resembling interesting villains that are credible threats, newly introduced questions and answers that invite endless discussion, or especially dark scenes that play the show's tropes for horror like what would happen if a Morty snapped or what would happen if Rick's tech was turned against him. Yeah, they delved into the unfortunate implications of how Ricks abuse Mortys what with the cloning but none of it is new information. And to add insult to injury, the new citadel got destroyed yet again so any new story potential that we could have gotten from the lives of alternate Rick and Mortys is destroyed along with it.
Also, something about the episode just felt sterile to me in a way I find hard to explain. Like, it tried to be serious but it still had a goofy villain and there's a lot of scenes where there's either nothing but talking with maybe a few Marvel-esque quipping while the action/gore scenes felt mindless. Yeah, I guess that's a way to put it. It felt like a bad Marvel movie in a short Rick and Morty episode format.
>>149384424No, it's not valid. We do, in fact, like him.
>>149384452Pacified is the word you're looking for, All of S8 besides the matrix and kid beths have felt pacified
>>149384473>this mfer arguing with a single panel from a comic
>>149381290 (OP)>Is tonight going to disappoint? It's a Jerry episode so it might be good, but not a Jerry and Rick episode so not a total guarantee.
For all the shit Rick and Morty gets after season 4, I think one of its better qualities is the fact that A. they finally cut out that awful marriage plotline between Beth and Jerry and B. They massively scaled back that annoying "Jerry's a parasite" gag. Him being a simple-minded but generally well meaning guy trying to bond with his family is much better, and so is them simply being too jaded to care but still tolerating him instead of endlessly piling on him for trying.
>>149384452While I agree that the villain (Gumbo Rick) was underwhelming, how can you say it wasn't good? Arcade Morty and Homestead Rick's reluctant partnership and tragic separation was a great story. They did all that in one episode. Even the ending tying it back to our Rick with finding the fidget spinner was great.
>especially dark scenesThe one man army sequence where he gets shot in the leg, has an arm cut off, and dies in the ruins of the collapsing citadel after detonating the entire place wasn't dark enough? Arcade Morty getting traumatized after bonding with Homestead Rick only to watch him sacrifice himself to save the Mortys wasn't dark enough? Man I don't know what you guys want.
>new conceptsIt set up that Ricks and Mortys were being mass cloned and the clones were making clones, resulting in lower and lower quality replicas. Remember when Homestead Rick was revealed to be an original non-clone Rick and that's why he was smarter than the others? Or that they're using portal fluid as currency?
Also I think that Rick has a point about the citadel. It's clearly a bad idea and doomed to destruction even if rebuilt. Rick is too much of an asshole to function in a society of Ricks. Too many Ricks in one place and eventually they eat each other.
I don't want to glaze too hard but it was honestly a good episode.
>>149384510Yeah I'm kinda glad they cut down on that, always made me feel kinda shitty cause my family is actually like that, like this clip while funny is what my sisters would actually say to him
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3XTwRyGyec
>>149384551Well the verbally hostage part anyway, past that he deserves everything
>>149384424Anyone who says "tho" doesn't know what a valid point is and doesn't have a valid opinion on anything.
>>149384598nta but if your rebuttal is the spelling of a word that's really reachy and kind of pathetic
>>149384525> Arcade Morty and Homestead Rick's reluctant partnership and tragic separation was a great story. They did all that in one episode.I don't know, I just found the stories from the Ricklantis Mixup and Rick and Evil Morty's team up in Unmortricken simply more entertaining. Hard to explain but this one just wasn't hitting it for me clearly as it didn't for other people.
>The one man army sequence where he gets shot in the leg, has an arm cut off, and dies in the ruins of the collapsing citadel after detonating the entire place wasn't dark enough? No. It happened to a one-off who has no large effect on the show, it wasn't especially morbid, and a character getting maimed and looking cool while blowing up a place isn't something unique to Rick and Morty. I'm not impressed.
>It set up that Ricks and Mortys were being mass cloned and the clones were making clones, resulting in lower and lower quality replicas. Remember when Homestead Rick was revealed to be an original non-clone Rick and that's why he was smarter than the others? Or that they're using portal fluid as currency? So exactly what I said about no new ideas. We've seen this plot in the decoy episode and it's already been established that inferior Ricks exist, clone or not. Yes, the idea of Rick clones getting progressively incompetent and ugly could be a dark and interesting idea but it not only means nothing if you get a sense of DeJa'Vu while watching it but the episode itself isn't all that fun in execution.
>>149384598Ah yes, "tho". The great disqualifier. A telltale sign of middling intelligence, of vacant grey matter, of a person hard of thinking.
And I, a mere stupid drooling bastard, bereft of a rational thought. It's unfortunate that I chose to use "tho", as my usage of it has invalidated my post completely, and now the opposite of what I said is therefore true. I know, you don't make the rules. That's just how it is on this bitch of an Earth.
>>149384658Glad you made it back to sane land
Anyway, I want Beths' panties in my mouth.
>>149384734She only wears thongs so she can whale-tail around town.
>>149384750The placement of the apostrophe in my post was not an accident.
>>149382159When a universe changes everything is the same unless otherwise stated. They're currently in a universe where they replaced a whole Smith family that killed themselves and nothing changed except Parmesan is pronounced parmeesian
>>149384798Which means Planetina still happened... and means something had to have happened to her.
She was a planet-level threat and there's no way she would abandon Earth or her mission, even when heartbroken.
Either Rick "dealt" with her or someone else did, but that can be the only explanation for her absence since then (unless Morty never freed Planetina in this universe).
>>149384883It isn't that deep bro. You could also ask where the knockoff marvel team has been during all the shit.
>>149381290 (OP)I'm going to say it:
I miss Roiland.
>>149384901Summer misses him, too.

>>149381290 (OP)>saves your entire series ironically as a joke
>>149384883But that's not what I'm saying anon, I'm saying these two Rick families experienced the same exact events exact one universe they died and were replaced at the exact moment they did by the prime family. And also one cheese is pronounced weird. It's not that deep man.
>>149384883Infinite universes means there are thousands of millions that are so identical they may as well be the same
The human brain struggles to grasp what infinite truly means
>>149384898But that group was destroyed. Only one surviving member, AWOL with no team. You could theorize the team was disbanded, or that she's joined another team elsewhere in the galaxy. Any number of handwaves or plot devices could be used.
That isn't the case for Planetina though. She's bound to Earth and acts independently. She would have continued waging war on humankind for destroying the Earth. Someone had to have stopped her.
>>149384916But that's what I'm saying. If everything is the same except the Frundling and the pronunciation of parmesan, then that means Morty still freed Planetina. And that means the only logical outcome for her is that someone has captured or destroyed her.
>>149384946Wouldn't infinite universes mean there are infinite universes like that? It's infinite.
Will we ever get an episode where Rick first moves in with the Smiths?
>>149385126episode no, but maybe a flashback
>>149385713They showed the flash back already.
>>149385126>>149385713>>149385740It was in Rickmurai Jack when Morty seeโs Ricks backstory they show Rick crash into the garage and Beth cry when she sees him.
>>149385770Both are for Rick while jerry watches from the closet
>>149381364I've never been one for negging seasons - up until now there have been redeeming bits to each season. But this season, holy shit. I may grin once per episode.
>>149385126Wasn't there a whole plot about Jerry's mom being fucked by a black guy and his dad likes to watch
God why are jewmericans so obsessed with this crap?
>>149381290 (OP)It's not 2013/2014 anymore, let it go anon.
>>149386149Yeah that story line was awkward. It's fitting for jerry to be descended from c(ck genes though.
>>149384905>kept talking about Summer's rack in the commentaries, even doing a rapWomen truly ruin everything, can't even joke about boobs anymore
26 minutes until the new ep. I'm guessing this is our talkback thread?
This episode is going to be fucking bonkers broh.
You don't even know broh.
HE'S back. Yeah, him. You're not ready. You don't even know who the fuck I'm talking about.
>>149387098SLOW MOBIUS IS BACK???

>>149387160You need more than the picture to find your way?
>>149387180Yes, I do. Why should I have to search the catalog thread by thread like an idiot when I could just type "rick" in the search field and find it immediately?
>>149387197You know what, that's fair. My bad anon, I should've put that in.
>>149387197And yet you are seemingly somehow magically incapable of making the thread yourself to your specifications and preferences thoughevermaybeitsoeverasitmaybehoweveritwerealthough
>>149381738I donโt think theyโll ever do selfcest again after the backlash on it last time. Just like how theyโve stopped the incest jokes
It's time. New episode. Let's go!
>>149381290 (OP)It's a Jerry episode. Of course it's going to disappoint.
So tired of you dumbfucks making these threads without the show title in the OP
>it's a time duplicate jerry instead of an alternate dimension jerry
Didn't expect that
>Rick and Morty S08E08 1080p WEB H264-SuccessfulCrab
he's waving that wristband around like we're supposed to notice it.
>>149387418Other angle it's a watch.
So it's going to be revealed this other Jerry is divorced?
Neat episode, but where are the jokes?
>good episode
>still no jokes
>>149384619Maybe NTA but definitely an A. And you type in all lowercase, so a childish A at that, who has no awareness toward what is pathetic.
>>149387453nope hes trying to steal jerrys life.
Well, I'll say that so far, I'm actually enjoying this.
Pretty good use of multiverse exploration and multiple Jerry's.
>we all had sex
Jerry confirmed to have had a threesome with Beth and Space Beth.
>jerry fucked it all up when all he needed to do was keep his mouth shut
Classic Jerry moment.
actually good episode so far?? what's happening??
wait if that rick isnt the most powerful being in that universe, are they outside the central finite curve?
>and suddenly, an Alpha Jerry appears
>>149387516Well we knew that. Rick Morty and Beth had to hear it.
>>149387541Haven't they been for like 2 seasons now? Hence all the situations where they're in mortal danger with no control?
I gotta be honest, and I've felt this way for a while now, Jerry's probably my favorite character in this show.
>>149387541>>>There is no more curve.
>>149384332Oh sweet, they brought back Planetina
This episode is fun and this show hasn't tried to be funny since S5.
Just accept that it's wacky sci-fi adventures now, no comedy. Goes down easier.
>everyone loves it
Based Jerry putting asses in seats.
>>149387541Rick is only the smartest being in his universe, not the most powerful.
>>149387551No, they're still inside the curve. They could leave if they wanted to, though, because the barrier is down.
>>149387541When the curve was created, all the universes where Rick was the smartest in that universe were separated from the universes where he wasn't.
After that happened, if a Jerry manages to take control of his Rick, that universe doesn't suddenly get cut off from the Curve.
>>149387541>most powerfulRicks are supposed to be the smartest, I guess that doesn't stop one of them from being a bitch.
>>149387563No where near the engagement of loli Beth
This has been surprisingly alright so far
Still not funny but at least the plot is a little interesting.
Beth really has awful taste in men.
It's the guy from the Jerryboree
>all have five o clock shadows
First good joke.
>They all have beards
I kekked
I told you fuckers he was back.
But you didn't believe me.
you know these recent episodes have been actually interesting, despite the lack of good jokes
Holy continuity moment, I actually remember this guy from the Jerryboree or whatever it was called.
Ohhh, its the five o'clock shadow-verse. Now it all makes sense.
>it's an all 5'oclock shadow universe
Ok that got me.
>morty fucked an octopus
based?
This was actually a pretty decent episode.
Pretty good one. Saved all the jokes for the last five minutes though.
They briefly showed a Tradwife Beth.
And I'm going to make the rest of my life about it.
Good episode.
Surprisingly enjoyable episode. The Jerry "action" scenes where they keep failing to land a punch were funny. The Mooch Jerry reconciling with his family and our Jerry having his family care about him were based.
First episode this season that I can truly call good. Thank you, Jerry.
Iโฆ..laughed at a modern Rick and Morty episodeโฆ..am I a redditor?
good episode with no jokes
>>149387541He probably was smart before the meth addiction.
Shouldn't Morty Junior be in another dimension? I can't keep track anymore.
Next episode is finally the return of Morty Jr.!!
>>149387684tbf you must have a high iq so its cool
>The only good episode in this season so far was a full Jerry-centric episode.
Based.
Once Jerry said his Beth remarried, I knew who the husband was going to be.
>>149387098>>149387594Dude you were right he was back
>morty jr
Of all the one shot characters to bring back, why him?
>>149387685It had like, two. Mostly that part where Boss Jerry and his thugs chase them around the beach house.
>>149387685The beards universe and Rick coming back in the room when Jerry turns over the coaster made me chuckle for the first times this season.
>>149387699Rickshaw, and the Bethisode was good nigga.
It didn't try to be too funny, but I liked it for what it focused on doing; multiversal adventures with parallel versions of the same character. Some nice moments between the characters as well. But I think this episode, despite being the one I would actually rate the highest right now, may have come far too late. This thread might be the slowest yet, in a whole season of slow threads. Any hype factor in the early part of the season has kind of fled by now, I don't think this can even remotely match the energy of earlier threads.
>>149387696Apparently he's a multiversal constant.
>>149387703to finish his storyline i assume, big part of this season: end remaining storylines
>>149387724His storyline was over. They could have just said he died of old age off-screen, or they could have even just never mentioned him again and no one would notice.
>>149387696Rick and Morty go to dimensions that are near identical.
>>149387699>season 8 had a good episode in it, so now I can't write off the show forever because there's still hopeLess based.
>>149387703>Morty Jr>Of all the one shot characters to bring back, why him?I was sure that the Morty daddy ep would actually turn out to be about something else and bringing his son back would just be a misdirect or a brief gag. But it may be the whole focus, which is a bit surprising.
>>149387696The parmesean dimension is identical to their old one in every way except how they say parmesean, so all established characters from before the jump remain
I told you guys Jerry episodes are always the best.
Now whatever happened to that Paul guy Beth remarries?
>>149387739we only have two more episodes
>>149387724But he should be dead. Gazorpazorpians age faster than humans.
>>149387696This dimension is identical to the Frundleverse in every way except that nobody got Frundled, and also they say "parmesan" weird.
>>149387703Weโre at the stage of seasonal rot where they just call back to characters from when the show was good
It's kinda interesting how simply making a standard universe hopping story about Jerry brings a much more interesting element to it. It's charming how much jerry seems to be enjoying the adventure and it's the first time I'm realizing that Jerry rarely gets to go exploring or adventuring like this.
>>149387724If anything, Naruto needs a resolution more than him
>>149387758Didn't Spongebob do multiple episodes about Nosferatu? As if the reason that joke was funny wasn't that he came out of nowhere and was never referenced again.
So was the guy from the Jerryboree from the universe we just saw? Or does Beth always remarry the same person in universes where she divorces Jerry?
>>149387764I also liked that no one died except for the asshole Jerry
>>149387751I assume that's why he called from

This is the FOURTH one of these this season. Have they lost all creativity?

>>149387832I could see Rock Bottom 2 working but the rest of these are terrible.
However, I think Nosferatu is especially egregious. The joke is that it makes no sense for Nosferatu to be there. If you make him part of the world, it now makes sense, and the joke no longer works.
>>149387831I could see a slowly growing plot of Evil Morty slowly recruiting โbadโ members of the family

I'll be the asshole. I don't like this episode. it breaks lore too much. how did all these dimensional roads get there and why does rick not know about them?
beachhouse rick was based though. it looks like the turtle house from dragon ball. also like that rick is being a cunt again and not a sobby bitch.
>>149387839Song was comfy. i must have seen it used in some movie as a kid because it feels nostalgic.
>>149387854Idk man the writers probably forgot too. The leaked art showed him super old
Remember he did have time to write an entire book
>>149387815So far, Rick, Morty, and Jerry have evil dimensional counterparts who seem to break the mold from the constant. Does that mean Beth and Summer will get theirs in the future?
>>149387872>why does rick not know about them? The ending of the episode implies he does know and just ignores them.
>>149387840Happens to all shows, especially ones that get obscene episode orders. The staff is obligated to produce and they are simply out of gas
>>149387872If I had to give one complaint to the episode, it would be that the dimensional roads thing is kind of a heavy lore element to introduce this late into the show.
That being said, at the end of the episode, our Rick implied that he knew about them, and was willing to let our Jerry give the signal that other Jerries can visit his universe.
>>149387872Rick did know. Thatโs why Jerry flipped the coaster back to warn other Jerryโs to fuck off cause this dimension isnโt safe
>>149387872The thing about the lore is, you just have to accept what they are currently putting out most of the time; they set aside consistency of the lore pretty quickly. And yes, beachhouse Rick was cool, he had a nice Roshi's Island setup going on.
>>149387894It was the opposite. Jerry gave the signal NOT to come because Rick knew
>>149387872>>149387894The dimensional roads are stuff you have to navigate through and can be closed. Rick's Portal Gun just takes you straightaway to another dimension if you have its ID.
>>149387916Still, the house being full of dimension holes is a big deal to introduce 8 seasons in
>>149387910>The thing about the lore is, you just have to accept what they are currently putting out most of the time; they set aside consistency of the lore pretty quickly. They really fucked up when they retconned Rick's fake backstory to be real actually.

MEGA WHERE, I WANNA WATCH
>>149387946Sorry Anon, it was the most kino episode ever but they only aired it once ever and also prevented it from being recorded in any way.
>>149387945Oh boy, here I go killin again
>>149387932Wasn't it said in the same episode that you can't just fake a memory?
>>149387954this happened to south park for real...
>>149387958The bug said you can't alter a memory. Rick faked one that was completely made up but couldn't have just made a few tweaks to a real one.
And then it was retconned so actually he did just make a few tweaks to a real one. And also for some reason Ricks are able to retroactively get Beths and Jerrys together, without using time travel.
What I really liked about Evil Jerry here is that he shits on our Jerry for allowing himself to be the punching bag of the family but during the chase it's pretty obvious that he's basically just covering up for his Jerry insecurities. He hates weak Jerrys cuz it's a weakness he sees in himself.
>Fleischman does NOT have the five o' clock shadow in the Jerryboree
alright, that means Beth does remarry him in every universe where she gets remarried
>>149387978Rick's can use time travel, they just tend to hate it
>>149381290 (OP)>abstract art summer and goat Beth were just 10 second gagsWeird to put those front and center on the promotional material when they had such little meaning

>>149387957Probably one of my favorite line in the show.
>>149387999Right, Rick CAN use time travel, but he doesn't. He hates it so much he doesn't even have the tech available, which is why he has to invent it from scratch in the snake episode.
If they were using time travel, that would be pretty OOC. If they weren't using time travel, the scene doesn't really make sense.

>>149388023Seeing how fucky the snake episode was, I can see Why Rick hates it. There is a lot of things to fuck up with time-traveling unlike dimensional travel.
>>149387989Yeah, also makes you wonder where his family is? I assume they either died or left, but most likely died purely because rick is around. If beth and morty were alive rick wouldn't be caught dead with a jerry. But rick seems mind broken and high on drugs, which might be his way of coping with the families death and now he and jerry are all the other have of the family. Jerry became like doofus jerry a apex predator most likely because he was to weak to save his family and rick became a shriveled up broken old man

>>149387916We had the dimensional rift that the dinosaurs closed up. But for these smaller dimensional roads isn't this the first time we have heard about them? If it was like, one and made sense I'd be accepting, but there are a LOT of them.
>>149388023There's a pretty big difference between c137 and the other ricks. Most of them didn't even create portal tech on their own. Going off what we saw going on at the citadel its entirely reasonable they stuck some ricks with time travel jobs to keep up the morty supply.
>>149387978When Rick was playing Roy he took him off grid with no SSN, he was also speaking with Morty in the arcade while playing the game. Rick's brain is just that good.
Well that was still pretty stupid. But the concept was different, so not horrible. Not as bad as some of the dumbass shit we got this season (last week.)
Should've seen trad wife Summer.
>>149388057Was that crackhead-looking Rick we saw even Boss Jerry's Rick?
>>149388057Kinda like how Cronemburg Jerry became this apocalypse survivor who could thrive in that environment. The family actually is a big factor in keeping the dynamic. If you lose beth, morty and Summer Rick and Jerry not only have more antagonism between them, but Jerry will actually do a decent job on his own (while usually becoming a worse version of himself)

>>149388102Story train, story lord, incest baby, alphanumericon, and the second interdimensional cable were the worst episodes. I feel like when they get a shitty idea they are compelled to do it twice.

>>149388010>MEGAThe fake memory had him invent the portal gun immediately after Beth and Diane died. The real story is that he moped around depressed for a few days afterward before making the portal gun.
>>149388023There's also the ballbag-looking guys that put the smackdown on anyone that mess with time
>>149388147I liked Story train, it was fun seeing just how much they could stretch out a meta episode... before they did it again then it sucked.
>>149388098He didn't dispute that it was impossible, though. He explicitly said it was a fake made-up backstory.
>>149388081I mean, on a meta level it just feels wrong. In seasons 1 and 2 Harmon and Roiland used to say all the time in interviews that they'd never do a time travel story. There was that gag where Rick walks through a portal then immediately walks out with pizza and has to explain to the camera that there was no time travel involved, he just stole the pizzas that were on the counter. And then they finally did a time travel episode, and it was all about how terrible time travel is and how Rick hates it and will never do it.
And then they just casually imply that other Ricks do time travel all the time, and it's not even explicit! It feels like the writers just didn't realize that scene made no sense without time travel.
>>149388220I think the second meta episode was just someone in the writer's room coming up with the "Previous Leon" pun, thinking it was the funniest joke ever, and then deciding to write an entire episode around it.
Does the stubble Beth have stubble down stairs?
>>149388224>Roiland used to say all the time in interviews that they'd never do a time travel story>no time travel everbut...but why, this whole thing started off as his shit post reference to Back to the Future. I can't think of any reason not to.
>>149388147that number episode was so fucking dogshit it's unreal

I think Harmon also really dislikes time travel stories, judging from some of Rick's commentary in the snake episode.
>>149381662They canโt go back to the โearly season feelโ without consciously dropping the self-deprecating and referential tone the script will take at times, that is the number one thing that has turned me off the show over the past few seasons.

>>149388369That would be the Jerryboree.
>>149388393But that's made by a Rick and govern by someone who definitely isn't a Jerry and is also basically a preschool. What we see here is a place made by a jerry for jerries where they interdimensionally travel and produce their own society.
I really liked that episode, though I haven't kept up with this season felt like they hadn't used the multiverse concept much since early seasons. Reminds you why multiverse stuff is sometimes interesting
>>149388369Yes, but the citadel was the Smith house, lol.
Decent episode, I kinda liked it, actually was disappointed when it was ending which is a good thing. Alright that's 3/8 episodes that I like, if the next two are solid half the season was good which is a fine turn out
>>149388242Feels like when RWBY decided to make an entire season about alice and wonderland that was a complete tonal shift, wrecked the established lore and power balance, left the main story on a cliffhanger for years, and resulted in bankrupting the entire studio.
Someone had an idea and everyone else was too pussy to tell him he was being retarded, so they actually animated it and pushed it out. Writers shouldn't be too chummy with each other, they should always be prepared to rip each other apart for bad ideas, or we get trash like that. If anything is causing the latest seasons to be bad it's that bad ideas aren't being pruned at the writing stage. They need an editor to tard-wrangle.
>>149388502Should I watch RWBY? Is it the entertaining kind of bad or is it just boring garbage?
>>149388414multiverse stuff is interesting because it makes you think "what if i could escape into a world where my life had gone just a little bit differently", which this one was fun for. Also some worldbuilding for what happens outside of Rick and Morty adventures
>>149387781I liked that one Jerry that got beans splashed on him like a gunshot wound, if those were ricks or morty's he would've absolutely died
Actually good. Not insanely funny but I was genuinely invested in the story and there was no stupid B story to take away from it like some prior episodes. Still crazy how little Rick's actually done this season though, feels like he's just along for the ride in 90% of these episodes except the bug one.
>>149388515Honestly the humor is terrible and the worldbuilding is cringe. RWBY's appeal was the combination of fight choreography and song inserts that created hype kino. outside of that it's like deviantart OCs strung together with bad fanfiction.
Dont' get me wrong, it is my trash and I enjoy my damned trash, so if you have nothing else to do you may as well watch it. But volume 9 might give you an aneurism. RWBY's writers are absolutely braindead. They make R&M's writing staff look like hardworking geniuses.
>>149388561He drove the story in the alien ship episode but mostly because he was being a greedy asshole.
>>149381290 (OP)10/10 episode better than most of season 1
>>149388567Fascinating. I've sat through some truly terrible garbage before, so I'm sure I could make it through.
I remember back when RWBY was relatively new, I popped into a thread about it here on /co/ and it seemed like every single person in that thread thought the series was terrible. Not something you see often on a show that's genuinely popular.
Rick is still kinda off but it seems they're slowly getting it back
>See I told you I didn't composte his ass
Good
>I get blamed for everything
The delivery on this was whiny and beta, only rick would've went into detail on what he would do if he actually wanted Jerry dead
The convo at the fridge felt weird too, like they want to make him an asshole but didn't know how. My only two complaints, solid episode otherwise, good stuff
>>149388108I just assumed, as it'd be weird for him to just find a rick.
>>149388121That is true, and really think as I said it really depends but both need them for different reason. Jerry so he doesn't have to try he can use them as a excuse to be mundane and average, rick can use them to feed his ego and keep him from falling into his darker vices and self loathing.

i get that nihilism is the point of the show but it makes the stakes seem so melodramatic when we know everyone is replaceable.
>>149388880it's character development
rick always (secretly) cared about morty but over time he came to care about the rest of the family too
you may realize this is contradicted by the retcon that says he was motivated entirely by revenge for beth and diane's deaths but i guess we can handwave that as his nihilism being the way he coped with being unable to get revenge for so many years

It was a nice solid episode and this wasn't what stood out to me about it, but since I see people arguing about it in the thread: Stepford Wife Beth was cute. It was a cute detail in passing. It would have been cool to see more of that reality but just getting a little glimpse of it was good enough. I imagine that that's a wholesome G-rated universe.
>>149388880Rick has changed since then, he's very attached to the versions of the family he has now.

Before he met prime morty, Rick didn't give a shit about his family from alternative dimensions, he was involved in the Morty Market and has admitted to having a similar concept to the morty torture chamber that Evil Morty made.

>>149389508first space beth was worse
>>149389182Fuck off Rick.
bland af. This season is so milktoast its crazy. After the second season they just had gross sex humor, now they cut on gross factor and the series is super bland. 4/10. Watchable but I will never rerun this episode. Atleast its not about sperm and dildos 24/7.
I liked how angry Rick was at Jerry because of their conversation. Like how much he hates to admit he's capable of liking and having things in common with him.
>>149389492>Shits on morty for no reasonThat's consistent with her character, they have that classic sibling rivalry and Summer started resenting Morty for always being Rick's go-to so when she got the place of honor she started rubbing it in Morty's face.
>>149390061It was funny seeing him about to fall into his old habits then sort of mellow out but then his bad habits immediately return even stronger like he's trying to fight an instinctual hatred of Jerry.
>>149387872you're thinking of Ice Age fren
>>149381290 (OP)I thought the episode was okay.
Was better than space beth ep
>>149390052Itโs milquetoast you idiot
Fantastic episode that shows how Jerry has grown and we basically got Doofus Jerry
>>149390087>>149390061>Rick gets mad>at the end of the episode still watches the show together naked with Jerry and enjoys itI like the subtle character development of Rick actually sharing a lot of Jerryโs interest but he insists on being tsun about it
>>149388690the steals from others jerry's
also he kinda fuses with the portal at the end maybe he will be back for revenge
I liked this episode, not that many negative notes. Exploring the multiverse was fun and jerry getting some confidence reminds me of early morty a bit.
Is worrisome because I think jerry is one the last good things left in this show because he did not change that much since early seasons. If the creators catch up it would be just a question of time until they ruin it. For me it was the best episode of the season if you ignore the lolis.
>>149383923The main problem is the celebrity thing entirely. The entire joke is going: "James Gunn, Zck Snyder LOL It's really them and they're at WB where they work" it's only funny if you're brain dead and worship celebrities.
Not as bad as the "We hate Christianity" episode.
>>149387832There's now a Doodlebob 3 where he comes back again, and has a normal fish wife, one of the clips was trending recently.
>>149384551The first bit upsets me because she could be texting someone quick and about to leave, he's basically asking if she's just chilling and free.
>>149390052There was a huge bloody orgy scene in the bunny episode.
I really don't like that I enjoyed this since it means another season of wading through mostly bullshit. At least The Bear got bad enough that I didn't even bother finishing the season. Abro Lundy--the writer for this episode--should just be placed in charge at this point since they understand that people want straight-forward adventure narratives as opposed to contrived meta-commentary on the nature of sci-fi itself with endless strings of lazily subverted tropes.

>>149387887>obscene episode orders. > The staff is out of gasThey do 10 episodes every like 2 years and most of the writers are fresh faced
>>149387930It's not too hard to swallow since Moosh's explanation was that Rick messing with the time space continuum eventually causes the holes to form and it seems like it's not that every house has all of them just that it's reached a point where a lot of universes have at least one portal in an inane spot somewhere in the universe, but usually the house.
>>149390264I want Swain to draw housewife Beth instead
>>149387930>>149390294They're always some sort of invention, like a walk in closet with more space to fit clothes in.
Imagine two Ricks making the same invention for their Beths. They use the same pocket in space between worlds. That's how they end up connected. The burlap sack was Morty's bag of holding.

>>149388937I want Jessica back. In that one episode where Morty runs a casino or something they had a good dynamic and she fit in with Rick and Morty as a trio pretty well.
>>149389182The Last Temptation of Jerry is the worst episode and almost made me drop the entire series.

>>149389656It's like Friends where they had 6 Thanksgiving episodes one season
>>149390180The lolis themselves were great but the episode was mid
>>149390342But that's your subjective opinion. A majority of the country has a different opinion, even if you also believe you're objectively right.
I like Jerry episodes but they have a habit of fucking up with story.
So now there are a bunch of wormholes across realities and they're just randomly all over the place and they're just permanently open for anyone to use?
I do like the idea of Jerry's making their own version of the Rick citadel but dimensional travel used to be more limited to Rick's portal gun.
It's like the last season episode where Rick and Jerry had their bodies combined, it made no fucking sense. How could the hyper advanced AI Rick built fuck something like that, brains don't even work that way.
Jerry episodes feel like novelty and entertainment first and world building second.
The part that feels remarkable (or at least worth acknowledging) about this episode in my opinion is that it feels like it's the first time the writers fully got rid of the "Jerry is dumb and pathetic, therefore anything he does is dumb and pathetic" rule.
>Jerry tries to make smalltalk in the most innocuous of manner
>Rick gets mad for no other reason and ends up looking like an irritable idiot
If not for that masturbation zinger at the end, this might've been the first episode in the series that actually treated Jerry like an actual character instead of a walking doormat who can't do anything right because the writers said so.
>>149390377>that episode where Morty runs a casino and Jessica is the third member in a Rick/Morty adventureAnon, have you been watching interdimensional cable?
>>14939027410 episodes each year. This season was delayed due to the writers strike
They got a bulk order for 70 episodes. Thatโs a fuckload for any show in this day and age. They might have felt they had 70 in them at the time, but reality is setting in now

>>149389309Dragon has the silver lining that the Jerry B-Plot is fun
>>149389332She was cute but sheโs also dead now, right?
>>149390435Rick just automatically gets mad at Jerry even when there is nothing to be mad at him about because he sees Jerry as some peon. But he did confess to liking the same show as Jerry and they two watched it together in the after-credits of the episode. So that was nice.
Will they ever let Morty get a win? Heโs capable of both getting laid and getting into legitimate relationships but something always screws him out at the end. Itโd be a nice change of pace to at least commit to letting him keep a girl for more than an episode. I thought Jessica was basically written out after the time lord shit and then the clip show episode implies the one in this universe isnโt like that since Morty went on a normal date with her, but we still havenโt seen her since.
Is this jerry ep the lowest kill counter ever for a Rick and Morty episode? I don't think anyone died.
>>149390504go jerk off to deltatale or whatever the fuck you raped faggots are pretending is good this month

Many such cases
>>149381827>Phone ChargerGenuinely ruined by the "jokes" in latter half like Rick acting like a door-dash employee.
>>149391031I found that one funny, am I a redditor now?

I liked this episode, in particular I like the subtle ways they shown beths attachment to jerry this season. I really hope we get an episode showing their early years, could also be an episode where Jerry nuts up and finally gets a job.
>>149389558>>149388004>people who forgot how promos work
>>149391410At this point, Jerry has been jobless for long enough that I assume there's some kind of contrived sci-fi reason he doesn't have a job, like Rick did something to make sure he stayed unemployed to keep him down.

>>149391448What happens if they try and form a business together?
I liked that theyโre giving more respect to Jerry but the episode was not funny. And kinda boring. Like most of the episodes of the season really.
Outside the easter one they havenโt been that bad as recent years, but the show has been stretched out for so long Iโve grown numb to all of it. The show lost its touch long ago and now that theyโre trying to get their shit together itโs more noticeable than ever. Thereโs a good reason people stopped caring outside of the zack snyder scene, and itโs because nothing in this show was worth 8+ seasons.
This episode wasn't funny at all, but I liked it. Maybe if the writing team can't capture the high energy and crazy situations of S1, then they're better off just exploring interesting-enough episodes like this. The important thing is that the situation itself still has to be kinda quirky or strange, compared to the Space Beth episode where it was pretty much straight forward sci-fi shit without actually doing anything with it.
I mean, it's still clear the show should've ended a while ago, but if it's gonna continue on, I do like that the irony poisoning and nihilistic posturing that was being injected in S2 and flushed the system starting in S3 is being somewhat bled out of it.
>leaving Beth with a perfect copy of herself for too long will invariably result in some sort of a catastrophe because she's a psychotic narcissist
>meanwhile, having Jerry hang out with a perfect copy of himself will result in a feel-good adventure with a few bumps along the way because, for all his faults, Jerry has a pretty healthy self-image
In hindsight, both of these episodes just reinforce what we've already learned in the selfcest one.
>>149391448Would actually be interesting way to tie into the comics, like Rick knows that all Jerrys have the potentiol to turn into megalomanic assholes so he keeps his down to protect Beth. That being said, i think its more an issue that the family just doesnt give a fuck about anything because Rick can literally just make money appear so they never really want for anything. The only reason Beth works is because she'd go insane otherwise, Jerry doesnt have that same drive.
>>149391641Personally Im chalking this season up to the writers strike, its not the first time political bullshit has impacted TV writting. Family Guy has some notorious seasons for that reason. The problem going forward is giving Rick a new purpose in life, which will obviously see in the season finale. Personally I do think they need to step away from the niliism for abit, its clear Harmon just doesnt have the right headspace to do that shit anymore without making it too personal and weird, not too mention we're already an epidemic of artists using cartoons as public therapy sessions.
>>149388858oh wow it's actually 1080p for once.
>>149387756Also Parmesan Rick and Morty and the rest of the family all died horribly.
>>149391641Same. I think it was a fun episode and it's about time Jerry got an adventure.
Holy shit this episode was so good. It's SUCH a fun take on multiverse travel. Just having Jerry exploit wormholes around .
It honestly felt like Spirited Away. In a perfect realm a Rick and Morty Movie would be wholly about the road.
>>149387544>>149389947I saw a lotta anons at the time pushing the idea that Jerry just watched in a cuck chair while his wives fucked.

>>149387756Mmm, I'm Mr. Frundles!

>Luffy Jerry is banned from The Grand Central
someone on the reddit pointed it out. Really funny and a cute reference. I fear they'll ruin Jerry episodes going further bc anytime anything is received with hype they just beat the dead horse until it turns to goo.
>>149390435that's an autism thing. Rick is confirmed to have autism. smalltalk makes autismos angry.

So if there are leftover cracks from all the protaling and reality bending that anyone can slip through... Then doesn't that mean the whole "migrate as a reset button" thing is totally fucked now? Can't a Frundles, Cronenberg or Squirrel slip in and fuck up the safe zone?
>>149392967Infinity got infini-tier ever since the curved got broken so the odds are too great to treat it as an imminent threat.
>>149392967Cronenbergs and squirrels are only dangerous in large numbers.
>>149390570I think they'll dead
>>149392967As in why this episode was poorly thought out.
>>149392967It's definitely a concern which is why Ricks usually close the wormholes whenever they become aware of the Jerrys using them.
>no schizophrenic flashy action scenes full of gore
This episode was a breath of fresh air.
>>149389958>loving Rockwell Beth>leave it to beaver Jerry and Morty>Rick has a pipe and sweater and a traditional study>Summer is kept in bondage and a collar and fucked by everyone in the house and Rick injected her with nanites that keep her in a perpetual state of estrus so sheโs constantly aroused by everything and the whole family spits on her and kicks her and rapes her and she loves it and sheโs constantly squirming and moaning and trying to seduce people through her ballgag and being dragged off of walls by her collar as she begs for release with horny tears in her eyes, self-respect long since rubbed out of her tingly teenage fuck body
Really liked this episode.
I was expecting 5o clock beard dimension to love the Eagle Man Jerry bur it didnt happen
Would be a funny joke lol

>>149381364What do yout actually like about this show? Only the double beth and the farmer rick episode have been good so far, and the james gunn episode and cryoship are easily 2 of the most uninteresting episodes of the series. Its especially frustrating because rick's plot on the cryoship had so much comedic potential but was boring and unfunny almost the whole episode. I'll admit though, most of this season hasn't been THAT bad, just mediocre or boring. The good episodes this season show they still have potential and everything shown for this episode so far has me thinking this one will be good.
>>149392759>The same scars>The Grand Central/LineCome on man, the hat's not just a coincidence
>>149394441>had so much comedic potential but was boring and unfunnyThat's kind of the case with most of S8, good ideas with really boring execution
>>149393411I agree. It was fun to have an episode where all the people in action sequences aren't hardened war veterans, but just a normal guy.
It's oddly reminiscent of early season Rick where he more often than not used portals to escape from dangerous situations rather than fighting directly.
>>149394441>the double beth and the farmer rick episode have been good so far,They were great, not just good. The rest of this season was mostly good. The fictionalizer episode was the only shit one. So we have 8 episodes, only 1 is crap, 2 are great, rest are good-fine. I'm happy with that.
>>149394441Cryoship was good
>>149394775It was a thorough ok, I would not use the word good for it, but I wouldn't use bad either

Last season has 3 stand out, rancid episodes. Hugh Jackman, Quato and Numbericons.
This season has a lot of forgettable mediocrity, but nothing that is immediate channel change worthy like those three
>>149395541I've been saying this since episode 1. Season 8 is better than season 7 by average. The only question is if we'll get a Fear Hole-level season finale or if this is just going to be the Least Bad Season Ever.
>>149393576>beth really isnโt into it>but as a fellow female feels bad for how violently horny summer always is so she engages with her the most>feels bad about fucking her own daughter but feels better about it after seeing a wave of pleasure and relief wash over her face when she gets off

>>149395620Next week is pure memberberries so that doesnโt bode well
Week after is the season finale and the description seems to be intentionally vague
Whatever the case, even if both episodes are dogshit, itโs still passed the mark of being better than S7
>>149395761Next week also has a B plot where Rick and Summer go eat at a buffet, so thankfully itโs not 100% Morty Jr
>>149395632>she tells herself she's not into it, but she starts finding more reason to play with her daughter>constantly thinks about the time her gag slipped and Summer moaned out 'H-harder Mommy'>one time left the door open so Summer could leave, and she went outside to lie on the front concrete and get some sun, naked and bound, nipples pointing in the air, then walked right back in, kicked the door close and then humped the banister until Morty got home with Jessica and got fucked by the both of them, then afterwards came into Beth's room and kissed her on the cheek, thanked her for the time outside, then walked off into her room to hump her dildo wall next to her bed, howling with pleasure until she collapsing onto her bed mumbling about raptors, Beth hearing it all and being perplexed at how someone would want to live like this, how HER daughter would want to live like this
>>149395761Memberberries aren't guaranteed to be awful, just lazy.
>>149395816>a B plot where Rick and Summer go eat at a buffetthis could be kino or it could be the most boring the show has ever been
>>149394775The pennies song really sucked and went on for too long
>>149395541>>149395620For me, a season with mostly bads but one great is much better than a season with only mids, even if the latter has a higher average.
A bad episode I watch once, then I don't watch it again. It's a bad experience the first time I watch it, but it's only a bad experience once.
A mid episode I will only rewatch when rewatching the show, and every time, it will be a hollow, forgettable experience. I neither gained nor lost any enjoyment. I just passed some time.
A great episode, though, is one I can rewatch whenever I want. I can go back and watch Fear Hole just because I'm in the mood for some Rick and Morty. A great episode leaves me with many great experiences.
A season with just one great episode can still lead to many enjoyments. A season with no great episodes but no bad episodes will lead to no enjoyments at all.
>>149395863>this could be kino You just want to see Summer get stuffed
>>149396209Absolutely not. Nothing about this show's art style is arousing to me.
>>149396403That is a you problem. I believe it stems from a lack of imagination.
>>149395728Hopefully they're taking in the fan feedback and get a little more confident about going off the rails. The whole season has felt very safe as you put it
