BA is more of a visual novel. The main appeal is reading the new events and stories as they come out. The gameplay and music is just there to see your girls being cute for a few minutes a day. The most taxing gameplay is the raids and you can literally just use garbage and clear insane with guaranteed gold which is only 200 less polys every couple of weeks so like 3 rolls a month that you're losing(actually less with stuff like grand assault now since you get a 10-roll ticket regardless of placement).

The "game" is just super chill and probably the most casual gacha you could play with pretty much no fomo since limited banners are rare and if you save up then you can get them all unless you are very unlucky(and you will get spooked by all the standard characters you skipped before the limited banners).

BA is way too generous with its monetization, they could easily be pushing more fomo or limited cosmetics or something but they choose to push out merchandise instead and it shits it out. Always new figures or plushies and stuff coming out and I wouldn't be surprised if it earns more than the actual game revenue.

I just finished ZZZ dailies forgive me Mibibi(ZZZ also has really short dailies too). Actually, most gacha games before Genshin were more grindy(Genshin had longer dailies at launch). Umamusume released at that time before you saw the transition from longer dailies to very short ones so that's why it is so long compared to modern gacha games. Genshin and BA were some of the first to really emphasize making dailies shorter. Before then you had like priconne/Azur Lane/GBF/FGO etc. Event farming and the likes in FGO sucks when you think about how you can sweep in stages for gacha now(most gacha with sweep mechanics required you to farm/use actual currency like sweep tickets to skip the autobattle).

Wuwa/Genshin/ZZZ etc. have very little difference between a normal AAA gaming experience except for having to save currency to get the characters where a regular game would just give them all to you.
