I do miss how grounded the fighting was before the Prequels even if it didn't look very eloquent with Luke flailing around quite often. It's also kind of phenomenal how full retard the choreography became in the Sequels. The Throne Room fight was atrociously dumb.

looking at something provides you with more information by bringing an additional sense into the mix so you now know more about the object than just what it feels like. Looking at an object you can't see doesn't provide you with more information. If you could stick your hand through a wall and feel an object you wouldn't just start squinting to focus your eyes too.
