I'm willing to play vampire VNs so I will likely enjoy this unless it is TRULY ass. The biggest likely pit is it being wokeslop.

The thing is, I think this game was originally holding up the rest of WoD from further development. Worst fear: it comes and goes with enough of a whimper that Paradox shelves the entire IP but either refuses to sell it or no one will buy (because it is in fact cursed). Biggest hope: enough cult enthusiasm there is a revival of games and (good) PnP writing.

Lack of dialogue options is not a complaint I ever heard (and the demo at the very least showed dialogues that seemed on par with the original UI wise) and parkour I never saw mentionned in any way in that period.

The only reason I can imagine for them not cancelling this is that they've successfully gotten rid of so much of the wokeshit that they don't feel the game will be another Concord. No developer or publisher can be unaware of the fact that people are done with social justice and homo troon shit, so they might have been successful in reigning it in and making so many changes that they honestly believe it could be a sleeper hit.

But if it still has "Phyre" in it in any way on release there's no hope and the release itself will just be a symptom of the ongoing Paradox deranged syndrome.
