But aside from general weird changes to her head shape, the biggest stinker is that they changed her hair significantly, and added the goggle accessories in MoM. Notably the titans games are the first time her hands are noticeably larger than before. Another factor that people take into account is the way her character was changed to be more ditzy, most notably in her dialog.

Then there's IAT: added a belt despite her wearing overalls, tore her overalls so that a patch job could be done to it, re-add the goggles from MoM, add bracelet, completely iron her out and remove most of her torso.
Coco is very bottom heavy now with most of it being in her shoes.
Make no mistake, all of these forms look like coco. But adding details that were never necessary comes off as busying up the design for the sake of it rather than to emphasis what already worked.
Nitro Kart is still the best render we've ever seen of the entire cast. The FMVs capture the original designs while still looking fantastic even by modern standards 20 years after its release.
