>>714928865>/vg/>discussion/vg/ has this funny thing where 95% of the board's traffic, which seems very high, is just ritualposting faggots shitting up every single thread while pretending to be their chosen waifu who don't actually want to discuss anything and will get genuinely pissed off at you if you try, and 5% of the board's traffic is actual discussion about videogames
check out the east asian genocide general (musou games), very very good threads full of game discussion and /his/fags posting well thought out essays about ancient Chinese seekrits and they are so slow they almost get bumped off the board regularly by the ritualfags
/horg/ and /rlg/ are both dead, threads struggle to stay alive somehow even though horror continues to be a very popular genre and /rlg/ became infested with faggots that just want to drama post about stupid discord clique shit
/vg/ is mostly a containment board
the singular biggest issue facing this entire site is that the owner doesn't give a shit about it, which in turn means the jannies are allowed to be as shit as they want, which in turn means that unless you have the rare janny that actually gives a shit about his chosen board, the board itself is going to be pure sewage most of the time
I'm still here purely because the hack taught me that there is literally nowhere else left on the internet to discuss anything that isn't worse, all my old forums are dead and places like Twitter and Reddit make this place seem like a haven of intelligent polite scholars by comparison
nothing will change until site ownership passes to someone who cares, which seems unlikely given that when the hack happened Hiro was offered $1,250,000 by the owner of poast for the site and he didn't even bother replying to him
my biggest fear is that, as shit as this place is, if it goes down there is genuinely nowhere else, when the hack happened even moe got barely any traffic and half of what they got was the fucking gacha and vtuber fags
