It's summed up with "Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State" and it's about strong nationalism dictating the interest of the corporations. Where individual interest and freedoms are pushed aside in favor of collective security and cohesion - hence it being represented by "Fascii" which is a bundle of sticks as opposed to a single branch.
I dunno why Americans keep bringing it up as a slur or reference in any capacity; American society is as far removed from fascism as humanly possible. The countries that come the closest to fascism are North Korea and China to a lesser degree. This is because they retained most lessons from communism but abandoned the International aspect of global prole struggle.
