Yangwang U9 speed record
It reached 472kph or 293mph.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXfYTK2RVhY

That wobbling at the end though, probably could break the 500 mark if it wasn't that.

China needs to break into motorsports like the gooks did. with their endless supply of money, they could easily steamroll everyone. just poach their engineers, write a blank cheque, and proceed to dominate WEC, Rally, and F1 for the foreseeable future. they could also just slip the FIA some money, and suddenly all their rivals have ballast. worked for mazda.

Toyota used to be in Formula 1, and despite spending a lot of money, it wasn't very successful.

It would be similar with a Chinese team in F1, if not worse.

Toyota spent money in the wrong direction. they established a base of operations, pooled together a team of engineers that probably weren't even from the best manufacturers, and tried to work from scratch.

China will be poaching the best engineers, utilize whatever worked from the most successful manufacturers, and even if their cars still can't perform, just bribe the FIA until they mysteriously climb the ranks until their fully dominant by the next season. the FIA can be bribed, and china of all places is primed for doing so. they could easily completely take over motorsports and rewrite rules in their own favor.

They do take part in TCR with the LynkCo, but they're basically Volvo.

It would be interesting for a Chinese brand like Geely or GWM to enter into the big leagues like WEC though. Specially now that the Hypercar class is "cheaper" to run.

Hell make a LynkCo Hypercar and use the Swedish engineers to build one. Pretty sure the CCP would love to given them a blanqe-cheque to BTFO both Japs and now Gooks.

How ironic. China is the ONE regional power left on the planet that refuses to bend the knee to European Ashkenazim houses of finance.
They control their own money. That means they only have to mint what they need, when they need it.

Here's a short greentext of what they get to avoid as a result.
>Be America
>Need a million dollars
>"Noble house" loans you a thousand bucks, with 200 in interest.
>You now have a thousand bucks, but owe 1200...
>You're not allowed to print, only they can print.
>"Hey, look, can we just print"-

>"But then I'll owe 300 more than I have!"
>"That's okay, we'll loan you 1500 with 400 interest!"

See where I'm going with this? Congratulations, you now know why it's by design that debt can never be repaid.

uhhhhhh no?

First of all up to 40% of a TV's cost to the manufacturer is subsidized by data collection. Same with phones. That $400 tv at walmart would be over $1000 if it weren't for consumer surveillance appshit. Go try and buy a non-smart TV. See how much they cost?
Solar panels needed to stay cheap-ish to see any kind of adoption, they're fragile and get replaced frequently.

Solar panels were retardedly expensive before the big bad CCP wolf came in and raped the Germans into bankruptcy. Ursula is salty to this day. Now they're cheap as shit and every poorfag should get them as soon as possible.

Same shit with smartphones. Cope however you like, I remember when iShit and HTC dominated the market. It was miserable.
Now Transsion sells their shit for hundred bucks with all the essential features included.

>Go try and buy a non-smart TV.
Scale of production and supply chain integration. Nobody makes that shit because nobody wants that stripped out shit no matter how loud the conspiracy homebrew schizos screech about it. Who the fuck will bother getting a separate supply chain and sacrificing precious production lines for shit that's not as profitable? Certainly not the Chinese whose customers demand more and more features every year.
Oh your shit has massaging, cooling and heating seats, karaoke, zero gravity seats, timed microwave commands when I approach home and parallel parking? Cool I guess, but does it have lidar FSD like the latest Xpeng? No? Fuck off I'm not buying it then.

Like I said, compete or eat shit and die. If you claim that only China subsidizes their companies then you're either subhumanly naive or a jewish trickster.

on the contrary, non-smart tvs are widely in demand as advertising displays. they cost what they cost because that's the ACTUAL cost of the product, the android tv appshit they slap on home televisions to sell to golems at walmart literally pays for itself, improving the profit margin of the advertising display at least 2x so they can sell the same product at substantially higher volume for half the cost and still make 4x as much money.

BYD apparently just doesn’t pay you if you’re a parts supplier.
I’ve heard rumors that some suppliers go 200+ days without even getting paid at all by them.
BYD apparently use their ‘big dog’ status into intimidating suppliers into accepting delayed payments lest they be dropped entirely.
Then the supplier is forced to take who knows how many business loans to cover their own expenses.
For comparison the average turn around for supplier payments is like 30 days in most western countries.
