No I meant the PS1 classic version of FF7 has an audio bug. So in that scene it plays reactor theme.
As for Rebirth the twist is already spoiled as the game has Cloud say the "I killed you" to sephiroth vs him not knowing and even admitting he couldnt beat him. It has shown Zack a guy dressed in the same uniform as Cloud with the buster sword.
So they cant do anything right.

The remake one is complete trash, it just has a shitload going on for no good reason and you lose the melody behind how busy it is at all times.
Also the bass instruments are way too overpowering that they drown out other things.

The remake version is great imo and that's why I included it.
The original lacks certain sounds because of technical limitations at the time, but those same limits are why it sounds so great.
I'm not arguing that the remake sounds better, just that I'm not high on nostalgia

I fucking explained what my issues with it were and you instantly pulled some bullshit out.
The ps1 had 24 sound channels, so the focus on the medley was intentional and not a limit as were the levels which drown out other instruments in the remake.

I really like the Distant Worlds variation of the main FF7 theme, mostly the ending part. The harmony of the strings is very sweet and endearing.

This is the only remake track I like more than the orignal

Even though I liked the original game better, the soundtrack in the remake parts had many bangers. The arrangers did a great job. My boy Masashi Hamauzu was part of that group of arrangers too, so it's understandable that it was good. Other songs I liked were the Collapsed Highway theme and the Wall Market sampled remix.
