Content-wise it's the same as vanilla Emerald with all additional forms/Z moves/evolutions of Gen 1-3 Mons up to Scarlet/Violet, Fairy type, updated movepools and an overall graphical revamp to make it look similar to a G/S/C sequel among many tweaks, including one of your Mons following you around in the overworld like Yellow and HG/SS.
