Time does change but there was a fundamental shift in all games around PS1 N64 era that differentiates them from all games made after; titles today are closer to PS2 games then PS2 games are to NES games even though more time has passed since then to today then vice versa. Categories generally spring about naturally, but over time they become perverted by morons who cannot think outside the box.
