I played the demo of this (because i'm a poor Brazilian macaco and ATLUS games are extremely expensive in Brazil) remake in Merciless mode and i was wrong about it, it's actually pretty kino despite the shitty new singer

This is not about "muh localization" no more. This is about some fucking yankee Sweet Baby Inc literally deleting ENTIRE S-LINK CHAPTERS out of the game, because it does not fit the post-GG era "muh stronk independent womyn!" and "muh Transrights!!!" narratives.

To add insult to injury, P3 Retarded completely washes out the game's main theme of "remember your goddamn mortality, and deal with it!", trying to turn it into a Scoobydoo tier whacky shit like P4 was for easier mainstream appeal (= not "trigger" anyone). Almost all the deaths happen off screen now, and the symbolism is toned down to bare minimum to just barely pass underneath the Jewtaku journo's radar.

Can I just say that the decision to swap the intro cutscene which was mysterious and strange with a playable section where the main character tries to pry open a coffin was retarded. Why does he try to open one. Why does he not mention that to Yukari at the dorms? Oh, right... because in the original he didn't. I dropped it right after the first full moon boss. Absolute trash.
