Trannyload does nothing better. It removes entire S-Link chapters, fucks up the soundtrack and art design, and generally sweeps the whole "Memento mori, motherfucker!" theme under a rug. Cinematography is way worse, pacing is way worse, and everything is more handholdy to boot.

To add insult to injury, P3 Retarded completely washes out the game's main theme of "remember your goddamn mortality, and deal with it!", trying to turn it into a Scoobydoo tier whacky shit like P4 was for easier mainstream appeal (= not "trigger" anyone). Almost all the deaths happen off screen now, and the symbolism is toned down to bare minimum to just barely pass underneath the Jewtaku journo's radar.
