Table top RPG rules have been nothing but a detriment to video games.

Turn-based combat will never represent actual combat scenario in a dignified manner. The only thing I see is some message about dealing X damage or receiving X damage or losing X item or making X hostile, all while waiting 20 seconds between each move.
That is not what happens in real life. Real life combat is fast, it's brutal, it's deadly.
