PS5 outsold xbox 5.33 to 1 in may
Well at least they are trying to make netflix of gaming a thing. You getting loads of low quality games to choose from for the low price of 240$ a year.

Gee I wonder what horrible decision Xbox made that caused gamers to lose all faith and trust in them for over a decade

PS5 is successful thanks to the hardware itself being well-designed rather than strong first-party output.

Japanese spend a majority of their lives at work or commuting to and from work. The Switch as a piece of hardware caters to their cultural lifestyle far better than home consoles. Same reason mobile gacha is so big there.

They don't even have first party exclusives anymore which is the weird thing then again that happened this generation. Are people truly so poor they can't even afford a decent PC? It's selling the most in us/eu so you'd think people would have money

Well it does play PC and xbox games decently well (if you are fine with 60fps which you shouldn't be) so it has that, at least compared to the competition.

My Japanese friends said that PC is the most popular over there. Nintendo is mostly popular because it's a handheld.

Japan went apeshit for the PSP when that launched.

Means nothing in the long run. It will continue to sell well in japan but worldwide it will always be second fiddle

People prefer saving like 200$ (at best) and then paying 400$ for PS+. Normies tend to be stupid and lazy which makes them prone towards buying consoles.

Good evening, my african American friend.

Well it's way better designed hardware wise than the console competition and you cannot really match it for the same price if you buy new PC parts .

Not that you would want to match that performance since you want a way better CPU to get consistently good framerates (100+ fps).

Because even though it's making massive headway thanks to younger people who grew up with Twitch, PC gaming is still seen as the domain of neckbeards and autist losers by many

The normal version and OLED sells more than Lite. I wonder if that's gonna repeat itself with Switch 2

It’s been on the market for 5 years and I’m still waiting for the mass console failure on par with the RROD. Any day now gravity will take its course.
