I like a few but they are all practically based on street fighter alpha and tekken. They have done nothing new to evolve the formula aside from combo and character spam in the marvel vs capcom like games. This is why Tekken 8 and SF6 have buttons to skip neutral, because its boring as shit. Smash solved neutral by making it so much more interesting but FGC autists have a mental breakdown bringing up smash as they want all fighting games to have a boring neutral with a shitty Castlevania 1 jump for decades

Games of Pvp win or lose will forever be fundamentally broken due to human nature.
The only people who enjoy them are the winners, and you can't force a win to fix this, as it wouldn't gain you anything because the win will feel cheap and meaningless pushing away both winners and losers.
It's not necessarily a fix, but party games often feel better because the chaos makes it fun for everyone involved most of the time.
