There's a reason why Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 have a buttion to skip neutral, because its been played out for decades and its boring to spam poke and do castelvania 1 jumps. Smash solved neutral by giving the player more control with their character

I like a few but they are all practically based on street fighter alpha and tekken. They have done nothing new to evolve the formula aside from combo and character spam in the marvel vs capcom like games. This is why Tekken 8 and SF6 have buttons to skip neutral, because its boring as shit. Smash solved neutral by making it so much more interesting but FGC autists have a mental breakdown bringing up smash as they want all fighting games to have a boring neutral with a shitty Castlevania 1 jump for decades
