Here's the thing for you people who want racism to be presented "historically accurate"

The most racially diverse groups in history are often criminal gangs. Pirates and American outlaws. It's just a game to be impressed with the presentation and detail of to hold your attention.
The gameplay is somehow both shallow and jank if you're not just doing scripted story missions.

Played it for an hour, hated how "realistic" everything was, having to open drawers and cabinets, peeling open cans, having to search inside people's coats, everything took way too fucking long and I was barely "playing" anything. For comparison, I got really into hunting in the first game. You could skip the skinning animation if you wanted to. You didn't have to watch John kneel down and schlick schlick schlick every single time. Played the hunting in the second one and there was no way to skip the animation. The horses in the first one, though janky, threw me off way less often than the second one. Ironically this is less realistic in the second one, because in real life if you've ever ridden a horse it has an instinct for self preservation and won't let you put it into a situation where it would get hurt. It's going to stop and refuse to continue no matter how hard you press it. That's just two examples, but overall the physics and sandbox were inferior in the second game. The only things that's better in the second is the graphics if you're into photorealism.

Getting different perspectives as well as actually examining the story. It’s rather poorly written. Like Micah’s whole character and how the gang interacts with him makes no sense. He seems to be antagonistic and aggressive to everyone but Dutch and everyone but Dutch hates him. He is far too much of an asshole. Like why does this gang of criminals put up with some random retard that only joined five months ago and has caused nothing but problems?
