if you're going to add co-op to hitman/freelancer it only makes sense to use 2 different characters because everybody will want to be 47 and you can't have 2 47's running around because that's dumb too. it's like spies/mercs/agent 1 & 2 in chaos theory, you need different characters because the main casts too big of a shadow

I don't care. I tried getting into WoA, allowed my friend to play it for a bit to show me a bunch of cool shit, and now the game has a bunch of unlocks and shit I didn't earn. I can't reset my progress at all, despite it being a SINGLE-PLAYER GAME. Immediately killed any interest I had in it. If you're making a single-player game that needs to be always online and doesn't allow you to start a new game and doesn't even make it clear how to simply buy the entire game, I'm not wasting my time or money.

They have HUGE missed opportunity. What they should have done is 1.) have customized characters, even if it's just a couple of options. Maybe other NPC models?

2.) Clothing, accessories, skins, etc to purchase. Deck your assassin out however you want. Cheap shit, even in DLC packs, just to support IO. Yes, it's microtransactions. But it'd be done correctly, no pay to win. I'd love to deck out my agent in some Armani shit with cool shades and nice crew cut.

I'm positively overjoyed.
