They can blame studios like bethesda all they want but its not bethesda making the paid mods, constantly calling for censorship on modding websites, sneaking malicious code and spyware into mods or asking for steam credentials. NTA, but as someone who has actually uploaded plenty of mods to ModDB, it's download speeds are kinda shit. I like the website layout/UI design/whatever it's properly called and it has a lot of neat features in it, but the absolute worst drawback of it are the download speeds. Discord might be better if there was an actual bot you could message and query for downloads like IRC. But get into a discord, there's like 12 different channels, you gotta start scrolling through text. Or sometimes you're manually gated and have to actually message a admin. Discord is pretty much the modern IRC, it's just none of the automated conveniences since it's all ran by shit heads since it's so easy to get into.
