Nah. Literally anyone can play guitar if they actually try. Issue is most people give up before their hands have built up the muscles needed for the admittedly awkward position your fretting hand needs to play.

Also, punk sucks. Its for musicians who can't even play guitar.

Rock Band 3 Wii is being decompiled.

Something I would demand to come out of this is compatibility with Rock Band 4 DLC files. RB4 lost every feature that RB3 added besides Pro Drums so there is literally nothing that RB3 can't do that RB4 can with its music files.

Better than the retarded rap with auto tune that is going on now.

Punk at least had soul. Garage bands, teens trying to make something out of themselves singing their pained hearts out on mic. There is meaning to that a lot. Humanity needs that generational cycle if it dies we get a generation like well ours. Fucked. Soulless.

At least in Punk Rock you are making a band, socializing with other members, living.

I'm not sure what interface element they'd have to use to represent working the hi-hat pedal. It'd also be fairly hard to explain to the uninitiated, I imagine (since this setup would be pretty daunting for a casual player). Double bass is pretty self-explanatory (you can't hit every bass line with a single pedal so you need to learn to alternate your left and right taps to cover each one) but a cymbal you work with your foot isn't as easily translatable to representation of the kit.

You're actually both right: Anyone can pick up a guitar and start jamming a couple of power chords on two strings. But at the same time actually making interesting stuff using only power chords, or start learning additional/technical stuff, takes (quite) some work. Same goes for getting the hang of rhythm and pacing.
Fortunately even /v/ can afford some flea market acoustic wooden box, just to try shit out. Instrument stores usually let you play some piece of shit for 10-20 minutes as well.

u know what would be dope that same system Rock Smith got but also with a story mode where you start your own band with customizable characters, tour then you make it big and get the golden record, hall of fame & what not.

and the game should be Japanese and not by Ubislop. I think they can pull it off. To inspire zoomers and get alpha to make music first they need the illusion in their minds. Music is amazing it sucks its becoming a lost art losing to mumble slop.

It'd be cool to have a "maintenance" part of the game, in between the main events and gameplay. You'd do "tour shows" which of course are playing the songs, and apart from picking the standard difficulty you'll also choose "venue difficulty": The local open mic night pub is one song, a standard venue/small festival gig is three songs and an arena show/headlinging a festival would be five songs. You'll have the same 'audience' hp bar throughout the whole set so you might do a killer show but get chased off the stage when Through The Fire And Flames comes for your ass. Larger shows of course give better cash (and xp?).
And this is where the Football Manager 202X part of the game kicks in! You gotta hire people for your tour, roadies, tour manager, hire a bus (cheaping out getting a scrap heap without breaks means it'll die on you halfway to the show or your bassist getting killed, resulting in delays, a pissed off audience and less pay), sound and gear technician, etc. etc. And of course all the visual stuff you talked about: Different styles of clothes for the band, backdrops, pyrotechnics as well as gorillions of amplifiers, Slash-style.

A guy who did promo and merch-work (and some VST stuff) for us at the tail end of DV:2 and V5 got her in contact with us.

Sheโ€™s largely part of why a: we became more popular than we ever wanted to be.
And b: why our fanbase became so fucking insufferable.

We were always pretty bad to begin with, weโ€™re a bunch of drug addicts who offered unlimited access - which yeah it lead to some great ideas and good connections.

But man, does it get uncomfortable when the parasocial experiment has people youโ€™ve had four conversations with calling you their friends when you post work theyโ€™ve done for you.

Good luck whoever you are. Stop working for /v/ enemies tho well if they police what you can say & how you express yourself sometimes its better to break free, it sucks to be an artist and be caged in any way. You gotta deliver the kino, it has to come from the heart but your opinions that are from the heart might be deemed too controversial & that sucks the music world is full of libcvcks. It can throw you off-beat with the odd ambient interlude and industrial noise.
