The numbers show WoW is still the king of MMOs. Blizzard makes several times more Money than Square Enix. WoW is far more popular in searches. Twitch has tens of thousands of viewers right now watching WoW and Final Fantasy doesn't even appear on the front page. Blizzard pumps out top tier expansions and when I play other games they are just so under developed compared to WoW. The game has millions of subs and prints money, and they heavily re-invest money back into the game.

Can you tell me what convinced you Final Fantasy was a more popular game? Was it really a screenshot of a city full of players? You know cities are like 1% of the content in these games, right? And the more content a game has, the less likely you'll see players in the cities?

For example, in Dune Awakening, I almost never see another player in a city. Yet the game has hundreds of thousands of people playing it.

"Max level" grinding is 285 - 300 if I'm being generous, and you won't reach that far without intense commitment anyway. What you're referring to is a VAC pet, which is a specific style of pet that provides massively-improved pick-up range and pick-up speed for pets mimicking VAC hacks legally.
You don't actually NEED this unless you're planning on doing extremely heavy grinding beyond the level required to do all the content in the game.

I love bdo but it's hard to recommend that shit game to anyone. If you're not interested in nodewar/siege just straight up dodge it, the pve endgame is practically nonexistent, just endlessly running in a circle to blow up mobs for thousands of hours, or for once in a week you can spend roughly 15-20 minutes skipping all the mechanics on a couple 5 man bosses to get their weekly loot which only either matters to grind 0.01% faster or to use in uncapped pvp. If you're willing to deal with the aids grind, retarded discord zoomers, and the awful engine issues the pvp is best in genre and has ruined everything else for me. Never played tnl because I didn't have the time to pick up a new game when it came out and nearly every guild that left for it has already come back to bdo by now, except epherium which completely fell apart because their gm cheated with an egirl and got caught.
