it's not even that bad, one of the games straight up rips you out of the E4 to go on a sidequest, full heals your party, then has you fight the champ. talk about taking you out of it

Should've stuck with the classics. They didn't bore you with babby's first jarpig plot. They just threw you into a world and said "catch em all".

This was the first video game I got that I personally owned (didn't have to share with siblings) back in like 2009 or 2010. I never actually beat it because at some point I stopped being interested in Pokemon. I still have the game and a DS, maybe I should get around to actually finishing it.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to get every nature/iv combination for wild shinies before gen 5. If you want to RNG something perfect you probably need to first RNG your trainer/secret id to have it available.

Gen 4 still had the fun cute charm exploit (I recommend doing a playthrough) but this problem has always been in the back of mind.

I did some RNG abuse for eggs in Platinum a few months ago and it wasn’t too bad. The biggest bitch is all the NPCs moving around outside the daycare causing random advancements. I heard it’s easier in HGSS but haven’t tried there.

I can't. Not yet at least. I have 6 heart scales from mining but I still need all the trash HMs scattered between my team for Victory Road. Once I hit the Pokemon League I'm removing Rock Climb, Strength, Cut, Waterfall, and Defog.

Also remember to hit up Iron Island every day for the 2-4 respawning star pieces, you can trade them for shards at Fuego Ironworks for paying the move tutors. Easiest way to mass-produce shards.

Cyrus is particularly strong compared to all the previous evil team admins you fought in the early gens. He is more of a proper boss fight, second only to E4 and Cynthia.
