Pirate Software is Yandere dev tier, he constantly makes excuses for his shitty game taking forever to make, his main claim is its not coding that takes forever but writing the story, but he won't hire a writer because that would defeat the point of making the game himself. The problem here is he is a REALLY shitty writer, so anything he writes will be garbage, the game would probably be released within a year or two if he just hired a writer to completely rewrite the entire game script and write the rest, and it would be a better game too.

Regardless of what it's supposed to be, it fails. The writing is bland, forces jokes where they're unneeded, and subverts nuance in place of having characters you don't know cryptically tease plot points that aren't in the game. What bothers me the most is everyone's dialogue is written the same way, there's legitimately no difference in how the characters speak. Thor being a narcissist could be the problem, but it's also just a beginner writer problem.
