Programmers will be able to program more systems more easily by using AI.
Artists will be able to make more assets using AI.
AI will be used to generate never before seen quantities of voiced NPCs.
Maps and quests will be faster to create using AI.
You'll be able to create much more with much less.
But if you're asking if actual AI models will be running in the background, that's less clear.

Well, how do you want to balance it? Here are three things that each use system resources:

1. The chatbot LLM
2. The visuals, pre-made or generated
3. The audio generator

You could go all-in on the first and have the most intelligent chatbot possible but then your setup would be text only or you could do something like have visuals and audio that are "good enough" to leave enough resources for a good LLM.
