the only way for a used game to get someone banned is if its unique cert has been caught online on two different consoles simultaneously. this triggers a ban for every console using that cert. the only way for there to be two certs online simultaneously is if one person dumped a copy of their game and was connected to Nintendo servers with its cert using a flashcart, while another user (in this case, the purchaser of the used game) was doing the same with the original cartridge. there's no system in place to differentiate which cert is counterfeit and which one is genuine, so all users get banned.

I work with millenials and zoomers and theyre practically the same IRL, aka not pozzed social media where the absolute dipshits thrive.
