While your observation is correct, you ignore that most of these online artists publish their uncensored art in their Patreon, as this is one of the few way of making money as an e-artist without doing commissions all the time. Also, this isn't anything new, if you observe artists throughout history, they would make erotic art, without nudity, like painting a clothed young girl, and instead of painting her naked, or in an act of sex, they would paint them next to a broken pottery pitcher, which was a symbolism of the kid being sexually active.
