Most of these are voice acting roles. Nobody noticed her when she was in Fallout New Vegas and several other games. Like several other voice actors she's in so many things due to working for decades. People only noticed her from AAA titles wanting to mocap every single one of their actors and Debra Wilson is cheap and easy to work with for her experience. I never played a game that had her mocapped but if I did I'd probably burst out laughing rather than be upset. I think she has some sort of deal with Sony and the contract has her do a ton of different voices while they already had a contract written up. Plus, having a big resume already and appearing in 1 high budget AAA game as a mocapped actor makes her resume look even more impressive, thus leading her to be more likely hired to be mocapped in another high budget AAA title, the cycle obviously only growing. I think most of the height comes from shitty mocapping and her roles as Grace Walker and Forspoken where she plays unlikable assholes in divisive games that both had a pretty big focus on race relations or the perspective of black people that makes them the original definition of "woke", as in "aware of the systematic circumstances in society that have historically and/or continue to give black people a disadvantage in America society compared to other races."
