MMO is a player-dependent genre. Even basic, mediocre MMO will be a lot of fun with good people. But if your playerbase are retards, normgroids, third worlders and their variations in female form, it will fucking suck no matter what.

Large room or true gamer thumbs for the locomotion. Headsets can be superlight, like the BigScreen Beyond 2 weighing a hundred grams or so, and small like swimmer goggles. Wireless is still kinda heavy.
I flex true gamer thumbs, within a yard by yard space in my front and sides. Can recommend Meta Quest 3, but your neck might feel tired after several hours. I grew the muscles already.

This will never happen. VR is flawed by design - motion sickness. VR also can't have complexity of any modern MMO. It's not just sitting on your ass pressing the buttons on KB or gamepad. You need to move, swing (other wise what the point) and this will create physical skill gap. This is big no-no for any MMO. So at best VR MMO would be dumbed down to mobile assessable trash. Not some SAO dream game.

I actually hate wow and everything it stands for. Loot can't be sold, the loot system in Vanilla-Wrath is dogshit. The loot system in general is actually. Players are extremely selfish and the game reenforces being a selfish kike. Raiding is terrible and large raids fall apart easily due to player egos clashing. It's a shitshow. It's very hard to make. Realistically you would want MMO with similar combat to Dark and Darker + Blade and Sorcery + Dark Messiah + Mordhau/Chivalry and fully physical and with monster climbing mechanics like in Dragons' Dogma. It should have friendly fire and ability to physically block something like in old Warhammer MMO. You fight monsters like in Monster Hunter/ Dragons' Dogma. It should have PVP and ability to paly with entire world and not cucked regional servers. It should able to handle giant amount of players similar to EVE. Such MMO would sell VR for real. But it's all dream. Expensive as fuck dream. At first something similar to Conan Exiles or Rust or Dune should be made.
