Five. Ubisoft decided to ignore problems---until they were forced to pull out of the Tokyo game show, and even AFTER all that, they still fucked up..

Ubisoft went on a compete rampage of fuckup after fuckup throuought this entire thing, like stealing the sword design from Shonen Jump and selling it, and selling merch that looked like a nuke memorial, and releasing a trailer of Yasuke going Johny Somali in a shrine, and ignoring how Japan has NO fair use rights over historical artifacts that they were using.
Seven. They haven't shown very much of the game. Possibly after the mixed reception the trailer got. Japan is somewhat nervous about the "activist nature" of the lead actress. The politics of the Ainu is something that I could absolutely see Sony fucking up incredibly badly. And what I've seen looks more like Kill Bill than chambara. But we'll see how it goes.
