I'm one of those dumfucks that likes watching peoples' reactions to fights. 90% of the time, unless it's a secret/super boss, people don't use healing items or Ralsei's heal. It's crazy how the game drowns you in items yet no one uses them and will instead die over and over to a fight.

It's wild to me. I get the whole joke of people wanting to save their items (which is valid for ReviveMints at least for the Knight), but still. The game gives you dozens of healing items, shops to buy them, even secret super healing items like the Spincake.

These healing chests are not so bad, since they're purely optional, but Toby should include a big boy option to turn off the adaptive difficulty for people who don't want to be handheld.

The shadow mantle fight become too easy after you die a few times because the FRIENDs begin dropping candy like it's Christmas.
The Gerson battle is the easiest crystal boss because of the damage decrease, but I guess that's a fight that's intended to be won.

There's also one counterexample I can think of where Spampton starts using the harder version of the crawling phone attack if you get hit by the easier one.

I played through chapter 1 and 2, I beat Jevil, I did the snowgrave route.
And then I just had no desire to continue to chapter 3, I just kept pushing and pushing myself through these chapters thinking "okay it's gonna get good by the end of chapter 1, okay it's gonna get good in chapter 2, okay it's gonna get good in the secret route of chapter 2" and then just nothing, it just doesn't do anything.
Like don't get me wrong they're fine but so what?

Legitimate question, because you have the Shuttah saying it's possible to travel between dark worlds in the purple cliffs void, the fog surrounding the door keeping anyone from actually seeing the Knight go through it, and the figure that Susie sees being too far away for her to positively identify it.
