Also a villain that had similar powers as the MC and was stronger and smarted in every way just simply gives up, betrays his captain and lets the MC live because the mangaka was a retard that wrote himself into a corner.
The worst was in the Japan arc when the author wrote himself into a corner so much that he retconned the entire manga and made the MC a reality bender OP motherfucker without any weakness.
But guess what he wasn't even a rubber nigga, he had the power of the God fruit that let him do whatever the fuck he wanted and to bend reality however the fuck he wants to. When the villain of the previous arc literally killed him, the MC just ressurected and killed the villain with his God powers.
It's utter trash now, but it was good for the first like 500 chapters, then it become mediocre and boring for the next 500 until it became irredemable shit.
When you still see these tasteless plebs defending this shit, know that these are sunk cost fallacy retards that made theit entire identity revolve around a manga for teenagers so they have to defend it at all costs.
