I had this thought ever since starting to jerk off with AI chatbots.
Whenever it messes up genders, I consider that the original Turing test was formulated off of a game about trying to determine if someone was male or female off of text alone.
Everyone decided that was too hard and destroyed gender instead purely for ease of programming.
