For me, my imagination is my own and nobody can take that away. Music and that's all I need to work with it. The only threat to that is stressors of job/money/ect but if I can deal with those then I do not need any new books, any new movies, any new games.
So maybe you need to just focus on older books you like, older games, movies, whatever. Don't be on social media. Idle hands devils plaything, whenever I am productive doing something be it writing or modding I am happier than when I am browsing and listening to all the evils that
