The cinematography or whatever the environment setup is called in games is pure kino
The space ship recreation scene in the ellie flashback was legendary and I will probably remember it for the rest of my life.
It is a great game unironically. Much much better than 1. Even the story isnt all that bad ( except the forced transexual and gay ). Ellie and Joel adventures part 2 was never going to work so I liked the story that was told here instead

Well there's only cinematography in the cinematics, and yeah it's good. During gameplay i wouldn't call it that. But the game areas and environments are really nice
