When i was 13 we had a rat problem and my dad put poison around the yard and the garage. One day i was returning from school and i saw a rat on the stairs, semiconscious, heavily panting and laying on one side. That traumatized me as i liked mice and other critters. Sometimes i still see that rat in my nightmares, staring at me with those big black eyes as it slowly dies of suffocation.
