I don't understand why so many people are playing in English? Do you also play Japanese games in English? Do you watch anime with an English dub?

But anyway, where should I spend my attribute points? Some people told me I should put everything in Agility, so far I've divided the points between Vitality and Agility but are the other attributes any useful?

If you're playing on Hard then Vitality and Defense are completely and utterly useless once you reach Act 2.
Your priority for points should be Hihgest weapon scale attribute > Strength > Agility > Lowest scale attribute > Luck just high enough to reach 100% crit rate with pictos.
But since you're going to change weapons very often until late Act 2 you should just go Strength > Agility > Luck high enough to get 100% crit rate with pictos.
You get a ton of respec items so don't really worry too much about "fucking up"

It's pretty good as far as videogame voice acting goes but this game was screaming for French accents.

I don’t understand this Pictos shit, so I equip one of them, win 4 fights and then I get the special effects they give without needing to equip them? Can I unequip them after I win 4 battles?

Once you win 4 battles with a Picto it gets added to your Lumina list. This means you can allocate Lumina points and get its effects (not stat increases) without having them in your Picto slots. You're going to want to equip every new Picto you come across and turn them into Luminas, once you run out you'll just equip the Pictos with the stat bonuses you want for each character.

Yes, once a Pictos has been learned you can equip its ability to a character without equipping the actual Pictos. Doing this requires you to allocate some of that character's Lumina points, but it doesn't take up any points if you equip the Pictos. So once you've finished learning the abilities of all the Pictos that you have, you'll still end up equipping some of them so that you can save the Lumina points for other abilities. This is why you find so many Color of Lumina, because by endgame you'll be able to have characters with over 100 Lumina points which allows you to stack a ton of good abilities

Dodging is easier, get the timing down for dodging first then move to parrying. All of us who played it had to learn, don't be discouraged if you don't get it right away, some patterns will change and you'll need to learn them for each mob which is why dodging is always easier you have a longer open window to get the animation timing down.

Do you get fast travel in this game prior to Act 3? I'm at the Frozen Heart, and I'm getting hard walled by this boss. I don't feel like leaving until I beat it, but I may just say fuck it and go for the Monolith.

An easy way to parry is to listen to the sound of the attack, not focus on the visuals of the attack

I can't say for keyboard, I played with a controller on PC but it shouldn't be any different you press it as the attack happens.
Listen out for the sound cues, that will be when you should press for dodge/ parry. If you can consistently get perfect dodges that means you can hit the window to parry then move on to parry.

As a frog the VA is awful, the tone is flat and never fits the situation (probably because they read a text without even know what the game or the scene is about).

My only gripe is how they fucked up the french words in english, as in every media. I dunno why there isn't a supervisor to tell them the right pronunciation, it would be so easy.
