I hated Dawntrail, it was contrived, poorly written, poorly paced, poorly voice acted, with a bad story with boring characters but up until 6.1 I had a lot of fun with the game.
I don't think it'll ever recover from the damage that Dawntrail has done, SE are too stubborn and slow to move to do what they need to do, as evidenced by Kate having a tantrum at us players because we don't like the current state of the game.
