To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Death Stranding. The gameplay is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of the trigger buttons most of the traversal will go over a typical gamer's head. There's also Kojima's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his writing - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Hollywood movies, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these references, to realize that they're not just films - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Death Stranding truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the meaning behind Amelie's existential catchphrase "Like Mario and Princess 'Beach'" which itself is a cryptic reference to videogame classic, Super Mario Bros. 2. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kojima's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Norman Reedus tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Is it really a "slow section" if the player actively plays the game wrong to create the slow section?

>see death stranding 2 is coming out
>remember the first game being a walking simulator and Kojima fans are schizophrenic and him and his company had a falling out where he couldnโ€™t work on PT or Metal Gear anymore
>see death stranding 2 is coming out
>videos are just 3 different races women doing camera poses and every talking there feet and how the creator scanned them
>the main villain is a rockstar
>the main character is bathing and dancing to Japanese song
>zero gameplay despite people shitting on Jewtendo

What a hack

To be fair, I liked Death Stranding 1. It's not for everyone, the only thing is that DS2 is just the first game but again which I hate.

Yeah for that reason Iโ€™m not playing his games. If you need to use feet porn and outdated spic memes when Deltarune doesnโ€™t even try either then Iโ€™m not playing it. It simply insist upon itself with no gameplay

How is he playing the game wrong? This isn't a dishonest portrayal of DS2 gameplay. I mean you can take snippets of their TRAILERs and it'll look like the OP webm.

Your clip is somewhat dishonest in context given that is the literal first 10 seconds of the game.
DS2 allows you to play the game how you like so there technically isn't a "wrong" way to play, but there are certainly inefficient ways to play.

But the most efficient playstyle is using the skipline, which is equally unfun.

Why would you do something inefficient (building the skipline) in order to achieve the efficient gameplay (skipline). Isn't this a chore? Why do you even do after the skipline is built?

The way I understand DS is like 52 pickup. I'll toss the cards all over the ground. I have to engage in something unfun (picking it up) in order get the desirable outcome (having the cards stacked neatly).
