I think the episodic structure has really done a number on the game from a replay standpoint. We don't know how the game's ending will change so we don't know if there's any point to the eggs, shadow crystals, or even Snowgrave to warrant playing what is essentially the same game a minimum of three times

I genuinely don't know what Toby's trying to go for with Kris/Noelle/Susie. He leaves all these hints that Noelle clearly cares about Kris and Kris cares about Noelle, but Noelle seems to be in love/obsessed with Susie. Maybe it's just meant to be bait for the player, hence the weird route being about the player controlling her and becoming yours?

3+4 got delayed because Toby went full retard with development. Ch5 is coming out in 2026 because toby hired actual managers and got Gamemaker to add that feature he needed to keep chapters separated.
