Game definitely needs some content drops. 2.0 Bosses are fine, but I want to see an actual roadmap of drops, not just "trust us we'll give you more later".

My man, they still haven't fixed basic translation errors that straight-up change how things work. This is an asset flip of the highest order. The bosses (barring the goat) don't have any interesting gimmicks aside from Instant-Death Attack That Requires You die To Before Learning It V2™. You're not getting any new content aside from the DLC. And that will be at most three bosses. MAYBE a new map, but I doubt they've put in the effort for that. And even if they did, it will come down to learning which path/POIs you need to hit to get the right level/drops every time.
The game is basically solved right now: Hit Goals with the relic with a fortress on the way if you need it and then run to either Mountaintop (if fighting one of the bosses weak to dragonwound) or Noklateo. 100% optimal and the only time you would change that route would be if the goat spawns in for a deal or you get invaded by another boss that FORCES you to deal with it or you get kneecapped.
The game is a shallow, ADHD-fest that exists only to advance your clock by 40 minutes and wear down the right-bumper on your gamepad.

I've put in 200 hours in it and I still have fun, though now I'm taking a break until the new soveriegns are out. I've liked playing the different characters and trying out weapons with ashes/spells I never used in ER. To kill the target Nightlord boss. You have three in-game days to do it. Every day the circle closes over time and you collect loot from camps of the various factions in Elden Ring and kill smaller bosses, then fight a major boss at the night, leveling up all the while. Characters are divided into classes, and while every character can use every weapon without restriction, each class is specialized around something. I wish they'll add some items to survive outside of the ring, sometimes on very good runs I feel like I can kill even strong bosses outside of the ring, but for some reason they are despawn world bosses and don't let you use stone keys on evergaols. But you can still fa outposts with mini bosses, which is kinda strange. I have a feeling that it's some sort of technical limitation or something like that. Last time I tried to drag a dragon boss into the last ring, but he despawned. I have seen him outside of the ring when I've fought trash mobs, but after the boss of the second day that dragon is vanished.

Wylder is the most effective, I really like his playstyle and I also usually use two handed swords in other FS games. I really want to be better as executioner, but sometimes it's just a pain to find a suitable weapons or make an effective build. Ironeye is easy mode, I play him just to chill. Raider is awesome and I like him slightly less than Wilder just because I don't really like giant weapons as much as two handed swords.

Miyazaki has perfected the schizobait method of storytelling, which was less egregious in the DeS and DaS1 days because the story was ultimately pretty simple and made sense when you fit the pieces together. By the time you get to Elden Ring, it's just slop designed to make people speculate in hour long lore videos about who the Gloam Eyed Queen was, or what the significance of Radagon and Marika being the same person is.
