The more games I play on the SNES, the more I realize the library is actually pretty mediocre. If you're not a huge JRPG fan, there's really not a ton there for you. I think honestly I enjoyed more games on the N64 and NES than the SNES.

Link to the Past and DKC2 are the only standout games on the system for me.

This was well known even back then. SNES was for RPGs, Genesis was for action/adventure. Genesis versions of some games were also considered to be superior to the SNES versions.

This has got to be bait. I had a SNES as a kid but I bought one again as an adult and my favorite games are all titles I discovered as an adult, and I'm not particularly into RPGs (I like them and play them, they're just not my favorite genre). At this point I've got 117 games for SNES and my collection is curated so none of that is slop.
