I do, I've been playing modded Skyrim (no sex mods installed however I have made several NPCs hotter).
It's cool to explore but even in VR Skyrim combat is pretty shit and boring. I can either spam arrows at enemies so they die before they ever reach me, or I can rapidly flail a sword at them from behind a shield. Maybe I should try magic.

Because I don't waste money on useless garbage. Wake me up when people actually invent real VR.

i play a couple hours of contractors VR almost every day. The Clone Wars shit is too fun. i'm addicted to it. playing old battlefront and rebel commando maps and even the maps from the unreleased battlefront 3 (some of which are pretty garbage) is so great for me. maps from battlefront 1 i haven't thought about in years and years coming up in the rotation regularly. i used to hate rhen var citadel and now it's one of my favourites.

I have a handful of other vr games i really want to play but haven't yet because i'm busy having fun with a pvp shooter. i haven't done that for almost 20 years

I do. I just dont have a lot of time for it.

It's more that they're the only guys who bothered making anything for VR to begin with. Funny you mention RA, I'm pretty sure most of the emulators are just a wrapper for RA.

You're better off just using virtual desktop. At least that supports every emulator, shame it's not designed for it so you get a retarded laser beam and controller model. If someone hacked that to replace the gun model and turn off the laser, it'd probably work fine as a VR emulator.

yes, it can be set up as a screen for non-VR stuff. A normal rectangle, a big curved screen, Steam has a lot of functionality that mostly works but other programs exist to make the desktop experience better. there is no requirement to use the waggle that VR comes with, those are just normiebait accessories. i play plenty of shit with just a controller or even KB+M with the VR replacing the monitor. I haven't tried anything like wii emulation but I have done the Dolphin VR where you can make gamecube/wii/etc. games 3D in VR, like playing a diorama

I pretty much do this but with ryujinx/yuzu, then run reshade with superdepth3d and play zelda in 3D.
Gotta be in range of your PC for the controller to connect directly to it because passing the data through the headset and then via wifi is too laggy.

you probably wont need one at the beginning since you'll get dizzy after 30mins but eventually you'll need one so might as well dump a hundred bucks and be done with it
the q3 is very incomfortable by default and you'll want to change the facial interface and the strap and might want to get controller straps that are less shit
anyway once you put the headset on your face and if you really like vr you'll know if you want to dump the cash in improving your experience right away so don't worry about it

I never really got the motion sickness thingy. I can zip around H3 with the hand-copter or play Stride without any issues. I know I'm really lucky with that, a friend of mine got an Index and only really plays beatsaber because he gets motionsick with almost everything else.
