How are you even meant to experience games blind these days? For instance, I want to finally get around to play Cyberpunk 2077 but I feel like I already got the gist of it from seeing it pop up in other places.

It's actually easier now than in the past. Discussion for games dies really quickly after release. I'll assume you haven't played BG3; How much do you know about this game? You wouldn't know anything about it, because it's long after release.
