It happens more than once in this game. When you first meet Shadowheart, she's stuck in a tank, and Lae'zel is also caged when you meet her. It should satisfy your hero needs.

>am i autistic?

Yeah, probably. What would you say is the starting party in this game? Lae'zel and Shadowheart? I kept them because I liked them, and not because you meet them first.
Do you like everyone you meet, OP?

>How are you even meant to experience games blind these days?

It's actually easier now than in the past. Discussion for games dies really quickly after release. I'll assume you haven't played BG3; How much do you know about this game? You wouldn't know anything about it, because it's long after release.

Oh, 3060? I used to have a 3060, and it played this just fine. You haven't tried it?

I'll assume that's a good bike and say BG3.

That's a really stupid opinion. Do you know when Skyrim came out? How did the franchise ruin gaming? Skyrim was super casual garbage, but it didn't stop real RPGs coming out afterwards.

Baldur's Gate 3 is good for that. You even get a party, which lets you simulate playing with other people in an MMO. I liked BG3 a lot, as someone who played WoW in my youth.

>I legitimately don't remember the last time i played a game that felt like a leap forward for gaming.

Maybe because you don't play anything. The difference between Baldur's Gate 3 and Baldur's Gate 2 is probably the largest of any two games in the same series.

>I just wouldn’t play the game

Right... but what you don't understand is that people who make video games want as many people playing as possible, if only for the money.
Baldur's Gate 3 is extremely popular because not only does it have dress up, but you can pick your character. That means people (that aren't you) like customisation. If everyone else wants something, the devs don't care what you want. You clearly haven't lived long enough to find out that you don't matter, but you will eventually understand.
