you're coming up with shit you made up in your head because you cannot comprehend that the game is objectively good.
As for why it deservers GOTY simply the Art Direction, Music, Narrative and combat are compelling. The turn based combat with parrying and dodging is fun as fuck and requires some level of skill to it. The combat all flows pretty fucking well. The picto system lets you absolutely have a lot of ways to build specific parties to fucking break the game in a good way. There's a lot to like about the game and it's retarded that you'd dismiss it so easily.
you're probably going to complain about me not saying anything negative about it because you faggots always move the goal posts so the most obvious negative is the last act of the game you can break stuff so easily and become overpowered that nothing can stop you, they did add a patch that let you scale up and scale down your damage but it's a bandage fix. Also the movement on walking around maps is janky in that Unreal asset way so there's that.
