RE4R has some shitty moments like an infinite smaller enemy spawn during the encounters with stronger foes (that even includes the final boss fight) and aiming that is rng with its narrowing reticle and shooting that is dependant on camera position, not the gun model's.
I recently discovered that RE4 is inifnitely better than the remake in terms of sound design. If you use a half decent audio setup and try play both games you'll see the difference straight away. The music being better is a subjective thing but how the original's sounds, ambience and mixing mog the fuck out of the remake is an objective truth.
