Stellar Blade. Game has been on my radar since reveal as Project: EVE or whatever it was called back then. I don't own a console, so was waiting for a PC release. After the console release I've heard that it's rather mid. Haven't watched any gameplay or read anything about the game. Bought it day 1 on PC. I was surprised how much souls-like it is. Still had a blast playing it. Gameplay was ok, nothing spectacular but serviceable, story was pretty decent, graphic and music was great. Would buy another similar game.

Only the combat of GR2 was mediocre, the game as a whole package was actually just good and I'd recommend it to anyone with a PS4. The world is wonderful, the music is nice, the characters are likeable, the movement is fun to play around with. 8/10

Bright Memory was supposed to be an episodic game with multiple releases over time. He scrapped that plan and decided to rework it into one release. Even so it's short as fuck. I beat the main story in under 3 hours and would have refunded it except I would have felt bad since its one dude who made the entire thing. If this had been a release by a large(r) company I would have done so without hesitation but I think its impressive to make a game by yourself even if it ends up being mediocre or downright bad, you took the initiative that millions of people don't.

Infinite, the original Bright Memory is even shorter with a single level/boss and more of a proof of concept. Infinite has everything the original game has and is a finished game, even though its short as fuck as the other anon said.

Infinite's two major failings is that its short and its easy. Otherwise its an indie dev smashing together everything he thought was cool into an fps, even if none of it makes sense. Stealth? Sure! The wire whip from bulletstorm? Sure! Falcon punch? Lets make it one of the strongest attacks in the game! Its really unrepentant about what its biting, but its also well paced and well presented. You're not going to get all the skills unlocked in one play through, so if you want to mess around with every weird shit the guy wanted to blender together, you'll have to mess with new game+

Its an action movie. It's as long as an action movie. Plot is just there to have a reason for guns to go bang bang like an action movie. Its a 90s summer blockbuster with the only slow point being the nonsensical 3 minute intro. After that its one action scene after another, with a minute of dialogue between scenes to tell you why you're in a sports car with a machine gun turret running over pigs to why time travel. Its shortness cannot be overstated, though, its 2-3 hours long to finish, even if you suck. Worth it on a sale, or if you're really desperate to kill 3 hours on a boring afternoon. Just be sure to change right click from aiming to blocking, at least until you get to the sniping part of the game because of course there's going to be a mandatory sniping part in the game

I grabbed CE and gave myself infinite boost and sunk cost my way into all of the achievements. Whatever it's supposed to be, it ended up as nothing more than a collectathon. I would guess it would take ~70 hours to get all the shinies without getting the infinite boost. The combat is also complete shit. Not a game you can play without cheats imo since the levels are so large and empty it would take forever to traverse them normally.

It may not have been perfect by any means, but I loved it. The OST was top-notch, and I liked the rage mode which turned everything black, white and red. Plus this was one of the first games I got when I still had my 360, (it got fucking aids) but I’m looking forward to replaying it on RPCS3. The platforming is Mario Odyssey-tier fantastic, you get a fantastic kit that allows for lunatic sequence-breaking trick jumps. It's just a proof-of-concept attached to that core movement system.

Don't get me wrong, it's amazing that a single guy made this in so little time, but a tech demo is a tech demo. I wish he'd stick with this clear bombshell hit, and develop it into something complete, with a little bit more story and a lot more enemy complexity, instead of making new projects we don't really know will take off.

The latter. The porn is absolutely shit. Most of the models are ugly, and even then 99% of what you see are limited to maybe 10 seconds for like 5 scenes out of a 12-15 hour game. AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT, I think only 1 of those 5 scenes are even remotely close to being fappable. The rest of them involving seeing disfigured corpses or huge hooved beasts fucking the girl, so if you aren't into that, you're limited to the one scene in a pretty boring position.

The rest of the game is just a really sub-par hack and slash that would have fit in with those dime-a-dozen 2005 era hack and slashes like Blood Rayne, except in first-person so the game sucks. Couple that with a fedora-tipping voice talking about how much he hates God and how "hypocritical" he is, and I think you can figure out exactly who this game is for: Fats.

That game was pretty good. Hidden city and roman temple maps are so fucking cool and kino. Gameplay isn't bad either. Much better than Shadow of TR (made by shit studio) or TR 2013.
